Gorgeous hotel room looking out over the sea. We even saw dolphins on our first morning! The breakfast was very generous, tasty and well-presented. The people in reception were very helpful and provided us with hints and tips for exploring the area. Will definitely be back!

We were only there for one night. I booked two beds, were given one, and was quickly resolved without question. We had a full view of the beach, were able to sleep w/ balcony door open. Room was clean, no "plush" upgraded amenities but all the basics were there and fine for this stay.

Altea is a beautiful location with a classic white-washed mediterreanean "old town" and a lovely beach. It seems like a popular tourist destination, and restaurant and hotel staff are very helpful, friendly and gracious. Although many Spaniards eat dinner very late in the evening, I appreciated that Altea's restaurants are available to visitors seeking earlier meal times!

It's a nice town to visit if you are in Alicante and looking for a weekend break. The old town has character. Prices are more expensive than other places in Spain though and it seems to attract wealthier people. Avoid the over expensive restaurants near the top of the old town. Valor is a nice Spanish cafe for churros and coffee. Overall it's a nice spot.

Altea is a beautiful location rising above the coastline to the stunning Old Town. Plenty of restaurants to choose from both along the promenade and within the Old Town. Locals are very friendly and there is a reasonably good taxi service. Train runs from Denia to Benidorm at hourly intervals and is very reasonable.

Altea is absolutely stunning.
Altea is absolutely stunning. A lot of work has been done to support the seafront and they have done a magnificent job. The seafront is full of lovely bars and restaurants. The old town is whitewashed, rambling and vibrant. The shopping is great both mainstream and artisan. Altea is truly the jewel in the Costa Blanca’s crown.

Great place and now the Promenade has been totally renewed it is wonderful and lovely for walking on.
Has a great church and so picturesque and well worth the walk up to it with all the quaint streets of the Old Town.
Brilliant cafes and Bars and a very good choice and all tastes carered for.
Fantastic location on the beach and yet in central Altea close to supermarket and the old town. Amazing views and sun-rise. The flat is very comfortable, superclean and well equipped with everything you need, including all cleaning materials. The welcome pack with snacks and drinks was much appreciated. Paul and Veronica were always helpful and gave us vouchers for a delicious brunch at Caprichos. It was also great to have private secure parking - approx 5 minutes walk - in such a central area.
A great find, and a short walk to the main cathedral square of Altea Old Town, the bedroom was big enough and the bathroom a fairly decent size for its location.
We caught the tram from Alicante, so got off at Altea tram stop, and decided to walk up, via Costera dels Nassos which starts at the beachfront, and winds its way up to the back of the old town of Altea, takes about 20 / 30 minutes and not to step, to the hotel, rather than attempt the steps option in 25-degree plus temperature.
This property looks amazing, and we have the best time at Casa Fleur! Peter and Francesca are the greatest hosts, they helped us with everything that we needed and the communication with them was excellent. The view from the terrace is amazing, also you have in the house all that you need, kitchen is very well equiped, 2 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms, very spacious living and the pool outside the house! The property is at 2 min walk from the Altea's old town and 12 min walk from the tram station.
Villa Las Palmeras was even nicer than the pictures shown. It was lovely to have the private pool and the gardens were stunning. A lot of thought had been put into all the outside relaxing areas.
Altea old town was only a 10-15 minute walk away and small supermarket was on the way which was handy.
Ilona was a great host and nothing was too much trouble, she helped when our prebooked taxi failed to turn up when we were leaving. Thank you for a lovely stay.
Traditional hotel with comfortable rooms with small balconies looking out on the sea. Ideal location with (pebbly) Playa La Roda being just meters away, and walking distance to the old town. If you travel by car, parking can be a bit difficult in Altea: the fallback is the free car park on the northern side of the train station. The old town is up the hill, definitely worth for the views and lots of good restaurants.
We stay at this Hotel every year when we come to Altea and have been doing so for many years. The location, setting and sea views are truly magnificent. we would not stay anywhere else.
The Breakfast Buffet at the Veranda Restaurant is definitely an exceptional experience not to be missed.
The breakfast and dinner were excellent. The staff in the restaurant were so helpful and attentive. I couldn't fault the service and quality of the food. The transport dtiver who took us to Altea old Town was also very helpful in advising us directions as my husband has mobility problems.
It's impossible for us to fault this beautiful spot. Super clean, fantastic views from room 6, awesome bathroom, 2 minutes from all the amazing restaurants and funky boutiques, a 5 star place in a beautiful setting, we can't wait for our next visit.
Simon and Ami xx👍❤️
Excellent hotel in the heart of Altea - easy access up to the Old Town but quite steep ! - Spotless rooms with great design . Breakfast not included but available directly across the road on the seafront. Would stay again and have recommended to other friends.
Pristine clean room, comfortable, lovely bathroom, and had a large terrace with a beautiful view of the sea. The hotel has a nice restaurant with good food. The staff was very, very helpful! A great choice for the value and for 1st line to the sea!
The location is really great, the room was nice and spacious and clean.
The price was of course not the cheapest on the market, but I'm still happy with it, considering I booked only a day or two in advance, and I had complete privacy there.
Decor and facilities were beautiful. Fabulous breakfast with the best pancakes I’ve ever tasted. Steven and Martin were excellent hosts providing help and info when needed but also allowing guests their privacy and space.
The locaties was excelent. In the old city next to the shops and the famous Church. The hotel was clean and quit with een nice pool with clean towels. De interior was very modern, cosy en it felt as a Nice place to stay.
Great apartment, well situated right in the center of the old town, and later we found out, in the best street of Altea! Amazing views, well equipped, with some welcome items as well. Staff was very attentive too.
Staff is very friendly, they gave me a free room upgrade because it was my birthday! Housekeeping spectacular. Loved the lobby bar and the pools with easy access to the beach. Room service is the best.
friendly informative staff, breakfast fabulous, close to beach, bars and restaurants and easy distance to access old Altea. Free public parking close by. Historical building lovingly restored
The apartment was spacious and clean. It was in a fantastic location and made it easy to explore Altea, especially the beautiful streets of the old town. Loved our stay and would recommend.
Rick was very nice, helpful and easy to communicate with. Good location, close to the beach (2 min), only 5 min walk to the old town. Everything is as listed, great value for money!
