The staff were really nice and helpful. The room had an amazing view and was nice(kinda small for two people with big luggage but we managed just fine). The restaurant was also really good!
Hotel Du Lac & SPA is set in the heart of Bellagio, overlooking the main square, opposite the dock. Here you can enjoy panoramic views and excellent food.

The hotel is lovely and in a fantastic location. The staff working at the hotel are exceptional and really want to provide a good experience and customer service. They helped us arrange a car service from Milan to Bellagio on a somewhat short notice. The room service was wonderful and the rooftop terrace bar is a must go with a gorgeous view of lake como and the alps.
Enjoy fantastic lake views from your private balcony or garden at Borgo Le Terrazze. The suites and studios come with modern amenities.

The view was amazing! The apartment is located just outside of Bellagio on the hillside overlooking the town and the lake. They provided a shuttle service that ran every 15-30 minutes to drop guests off into downtown Bellagio. The staff was very helpful, they provided information about the water taxis and how to get around town. Our room was clean, spacious, and provided lots of amenities such as a private kitchenette, large bathroom and shower, and several patios to enjoy the view. They also provided private parking either outside or in a garage so there were no worries about driving to the location as parking can be a premium in the area. The resort also had a swimming pool that was beautiful and clean. The water was cold but we still enjoyed a swim while overlooking the mountains. They was also a free breakfast buffet in the mornings that had a large variety of food and drinks.
Owned by 4 generations of women since 1880, Hotel Belvedere offers panoramic views of Lake Como. The private garden has a swimming pool with a hot tub. Parking is free.

We had a very bad experience at Como lake. because the employees in the ferry company went on a strike at 12 noon until 5 PM, and we were stranded on our first stop ( Varrena). All the private boats and water taxis refused to transfer anybody. So we had to take a taxi to return back to our hotel in Bellagio which took almost 90 minutes to reach while its not more than a 15 minutes ride by the ferry. So unfortunately these employees have spoiled our one day vacation to Como, because they could have informed us about the intended strike before we bought our circulation ticket, we could have changed our plans.

Bellagio is such a cute town.
Bellagio is such a cute town. I recommend staying there just for a day and then visiting the other small towns around it with the ferry. It is quite expensive compared to other cities but the landscapes and views are worth it.

Bellagio was by far the best village/town to stay in on Lake Como. Shopping, restaurants, bars, cafes were excellent. The streets were fantastic, and very photographic. Ferries were easy to catch to other parts of the lake. Sitting outside the Sports cafe bar near the church as a daily ritual to sip caffe or a Aperol Spritz.

Bellagio has the perfect location in Lake Como in order to visit other places around the lake. It is very picturesque and unique. It is much better than Como to stay during your trip since it's not a big town but rather a very beautiful village. The only problem is the road leading there, which is rather narrow, but this is the case for the whole of Lake Como. The alternative is moving around by boat.

The restaurants and bars and narrow lanes were great.
The restaurants and bars and narrow lanes were great. The lanes are mostly steep climbs so be fit or stop in a bar half way! Just out of town is the Alle Darsene di Loppia, very good restaurant.
Cars are generally excluded from the town centre so if you have your own car you need to make sure you can get to your accommodation. And if you have a car you need to be bold when driving, because the local Italians can fit a car through a tiny gap, at high speed, and you must do the same to get anywhere. Trust them and enjoy the ride!
The ferry trips around Lake Como were great - you can explore a lot of beautiful old towns from the ferry.

We loved Bellagio!
We loved Bellagio! we also spent a day in Varenna (via ferry) - quieter, but just as charming. Take the tour of the Melza Villa there (the interior plus gardens). Note that for all of the Villa tours, all accessible by public ferry, order your tickets well in advance because day of they will all be sold out. Bellagio and Varenna are similar in that both are built into the side of an Alp, and the "cross streets" all require navigating a hundred or more stairs. Folks who live there don't seem to notice, but in the hot sun we were sure stopping every ten stairs to rest. We just randomly picked "cute" restaurants and enjoyed every one.
The apartment was in a stunning location on lake como in a pretty village just outside Bellagio. Ida met us at the property and took us on a quick tour of the property and always checked in to see if we were ok. Thanks Ida you were fab! Everything inside the apartment was clean and to a good standard and made for a perfect holiday. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to anyone wanting a peaceful getaway within walking distance of Bellagio surrounded by beautiful gardens and views.
We couldn't have wished for a better first wedding anniversary. Perfect hotel with a beautiful view of Lake Como. Breakfast, room service and friendly staff exceeded our expectations. The hotel is further away from Bellagio, but it's not a problem at all, because every hour, the hotel's shuttle bus picks up and drops off the guests. We will definitely come back in the warmer season to be able to take advantage of everything what the hotel offer (for example, relaxing by the pool).
The view from the balcony is INCREDIBLE. I felt like I was living in a dream with the view of Lake Como & the rest of the town of Bellagio. There is a table and couch out there as well so we were able to hangout outside during our stay. The bed is very comfortable and the pull out couch is a great size for 2 people. The city is also very walkable and there are many areas around for shopping & eating (all with amazing views)
Fantastic way to experience Bellagio and central Lake Como! The staff were very helpful, letting us store our bags before check in as well as after checking out, and very responsive in answering any questions we had. It was fun staying above the restaurant, and was not noisy at night. Breakfast in the mornings was very nice, and the night we had dinner there was delicious. Overall I would definitely recommend staying here!
The house is in an absolutely stunning location, and close to the best part of Lake Como in Bellagio. Francesca and Oreste were really friendly, and despite a slight language barrier they explained everything we needed to know and made us feel incredibly welcome. The house itself was full of charm and excellently kept, with some of the most incredible views.
We loved our stay here! This gem made our stay in Lake Como even more fantastic. The apartment is centrally located, within just a few steps you have shops, restaurants and even a couple of food stores where you can pick up some groceries to make breakfast. The kitchen has everything you'll need to cook and it has a beautiful view of the lake.
Just a wonderful experience! From the hospitality from Giulio, Paola, and the entire staff/team, the location of the Bellagio Bed and Breakfast with a breathtaking view of Lake Como, the quality breakfast which included wonderful service, to the real comfort of the rooms… everything was fantastic and exceeded our expectations!
I had a non refundable reservation and couldn’t make it on the scheduled date. At hotel Bellagio they would let me take another date instead. I couldn’t go anyway, but they couldn’t have been more flexible and nice handling the situation. So I will book Bellagio the next time I go to Lake Como.
Clean ,modern and spacious house in a perfect location with amazing views of Lake Como. The terrace is so relaxing. Pictures do not show how beautiful Casa Ketty really is. I highly recommend that you see it for yourself. I am so happy we chose this property for our stay in Bellagio.
Perfect apartment that had everything we needed and more! Located in a prime location in the centre of Bellagio, it offers a tranquil oasis with an amazing outdoor terrace and even a view of Lake Como 😍 Elisabetta was so lovely and accomodating!! Truely an amazing place to stay xxx
This property is in the perfect location in Bellagio. A quick 2 minute walk to the port where you can travel by ferry to other towns within Lake Como.
The room is very clean and modern with all kitchen needs. The staff and very quick responders to any enquires you have.
Casa Carolina was expectacular! Location, Price, Clean, Comfortable & Cosy with great views of mountains and Lake Como. This place made us feel right at home for three days, the drive to Main Bellagio was a 5 -10 min drive.
I definitely would stay here again.
Villa Primula is a beautiful villa on a hilltop position with fantastic views overlooking Lake Como and Bellagio.
Noris is such a welcoming and helpful host.
If we were to return to Bellagio, this would definitely be our first choice for accommodation.
It was a small family run hotel in the centre of Bellagio close to many restaurants and shopping and also a short walk from the Melzi Family estate and gardens which are absolutely gorgeous. The staff at the hotel were lovely and very friendly.
The hotel is really nice and the room was very clean, well equipped and with a lot of space. Staff was absolutely fantastic and friendly. Great breakfast with a great view too! Would definitely return if we come back to Lake Como.
David met us and was so helpful to I sure we were happy. Brilliant location in Bellagio and so well run.
