The house is definitely special and cos. Carved into the Matera mountain as a sassou, it does feel like a blast from the very far past. However that doesn’t make the house any less functional or comfortable. The house is spacious and very clean, the bed are comfortable and the outside sitting area is very nice for breakfast or an evening chill. During the hottest times of the day, the house remained pleasantly chill, no need for AC.
