Lots of storage, nice spacious kitchen and designated space in the fridge. Quiet, groceries around the corner, beautiful beaches. Good simple breakfast w plenty of coffee.Simple.

Santa Beach House is a well kept secret within a 5 mere minute walk to one of the most natural beaches on this coast. It has a villa feeling to it (large swimming pool, terrace, garden, bbq area) while indoors, its spacious areas (best equipped kitchen I've seen, huge living and dining rooms, large washroom) make you feel at home, because it is in fact a home. The ambiance is friendly and relaxing for surfers and non-surfers alike. The staff were welcoming, friendly, flexible, and most accomodating. The mattresses were comfortable, beds wood-solid and the lockers large. Santa Beach House is an oasis for travellers of all ages to create memories and long to return to Santa Cruz. Because I have, I strongly recommend it.

What a gem. Randomly came across the Santa Beach House, searching for an affordable last minute stay by the coast + beach, before ending our trip to Portugal. Thank you for putting Santa Cruz on the map for us, the comfortable stay and warm hospitality. Would return again in the future!

The breakfast was a buffet and copious. The shared kitchen was practical and all the appliances worked perfectly. Family atmosphere. The beach, shops and town centre at a short walking distance. Staff very helpful. Ricardo was very kind and helpful.

I don't normally stay in shared room hostels, but I was tired from my bike ride and this was nearby. I was quite comfortable there. They had a place for my bike. i slept well. If I were planning to take a rest day, this would have been a good place to spend an extra night.

It is a very friendly, warm and becoming family run hostel. It is in the centre of beautiful Santa Cruz. It is only a short walk to the beach and the supermarket. Ricardo is really lovely and very helpful. I recommend this hostel.
