The host, Adelaide, met us outside the apartment when we arrived. She is super nice and sweet and she gave us a tour of the apartment. The apartment is very spacious with a little nice outdoor area at the back. The clean is spotless and very clean.

Breakfast was not included but goodies, fruit, coffee, pastries were offered and available. The host was incredibly helpful and welcoming and offered a quick tour of the town. Apartment was very efficiently designed with excellent use of minimal space. Beautifully appointed.

Stunning views, beautiful place to visit with so much history. The Retiro do Escova restaurant was brilliant, excellent food and great service. I didn't have a car so I depended on public transport which was economic and handy to go to visit other towns nearby.

If you are interested in history and things other than beaches, this area is surprisingly full of excellent places to visit, and virtually empty of the usual crowds. The apartment is a stylish conversion of an older building & has all modern conveniences. It has a pretty shared courtyard with 2 other apartments. Lalia, the owner, is so friendly and helpful. Daily cleaning is offered if required. We would definitely choose to stay here again if we re-visit the area. All in all, truly excellent.
