Dolphin Lodge - House 47, Sodwana Bay Lodge is situated within Sodwana Bay Lodge, which offer 24 hour security. Lovely 3 bedrooms houses with aircon and 2 bathrooms, Open Plan Kitchen with Dinning room and Lounge with glass doors that can open up with a lovely view over the lake. We provide Wifi facilities in the house. Our Reception is open from 7h00 - 21h00. 4 Hour drive from Durban and 7 Hour drive from Johannesburg to Sodwana. (Tar road all the way to Sodwana if you make use of these directions. FROM DURBAN ( 3 and a half hours). Take the N2 highway northbound towards KwaDakuza; please note you will pass through a total of three toll gates from Durban to Sodwana: Tongaat Toll Plaza, Mvoti Toll Plaza and Mtunzini Toll Plaza. The toll gate will accept cash or credit card payments. • Pass the towns of Ballito, Tinley Manor, KwaSakuza, Mtunzini, Empangeni, Richard’s Bay, Kwambonambi and Mtubatuba. • Take the Hluhluwe fly-off. At the top of the fly-off, turn right onto the bridge and follow the signage into the town of Hluhluwe • Entering Hluhluwe, you will cross 3 consecutive traffic circles. Continue to the 4th circle which is opposite the AWF Outdoor Shop. At the 4th circle, turn left following the False Bay / Sodwana Bay signage. As you pass the “Build-It Hardware Store” you will leave the outskirts of town, and prepare to take a right turn, crossing over the railway line. Signage should indicate Sodwana Bay / False Bay. Continue on this road R22 for 97 km till you reach the town Mbazwana. After the the 2nd circle you will get the turn to the right (main road of Mbazwana with the Engen Station. Continue down this road till you get the 4 way stop. At the stop turn right and follow this road for 13 km. When you enter Sodwana, with the Reefteach sign on the left stay on tar road - do not turn onto gravel road. Continue till you see Maak n Jol on your left – our entrance is just after Maak n Jol. Please report at Security, who will help you from there.

Sodwana Bay Lodge is situated just before you enter the National Park, which is a drive of 5 km to the main beach. You will pay an entrance fee at the beach gate daily.
