Exceptional place with a great view of the mountains :) I loved everything about our stay, the staff were cordial and interactive and the parking place was very convenient. As it is nearby the Highway, it is much more convenient for travelers with own vehicle. No parking fees which is a delight, unlikely in City center which charge 16 Euros per day like the hotels near Central Station :)
Public transport like Bus connectivity is also right across the hotel and beside depending upon the direction of travel.
If I visit Salzburg in future, this is where I stay henceforth.
Thank you :)

Made famous for its “hills alive with the sound of music”, Salzburg is a very pretty town filled with romantic buildings and squares. If you are not yet aware that Mozart was born here, then you will be as soon as you land at Salzburg W.A. Mozart International Airport.
Further your education about this musical prodigy at his actual birthplace, Mozarts Geburtshaus. The city is the namesake of the Salzach River which runs through it, and alongside this beautiful river lays the Schloss Mirabell, one of the many impressive castles within the city limits. Schloss Mirabell and Hellbrunn with their picturesque gardens, beautiful galleries and impressive halls make the ideal spot for a picnic during summer.
The white-stone Hohensalzburg fortress is perched upon a green hill and offers magnificent views over the city. Or, you can escape it all in the Kapuzinerberg forest, which offers splendid Alpine vistas- a reminder of Salzburg’s natural beauty.
The shopping centre focuses around Alter Markt Square and Getreidegasse, the latter is a quirky street with old-fashioned signs indicating what each store sells. With 125 hotels and guesthouses available on Booking.com, your stay in Salzburg is bound to be as pleasant as this city is pretty.
Salzburg is a great city. The castle is a must see via the funicular railway up to the top with spectacular views over the city and beyond. Across the river is the Mirabell Palace and gardens which is a beautiful area to sit or explore. We enjoyed sitting outside the Glockenspiel cafe for coffee in the morning and a refreshing drink in the afternoon.

Salzburg is without a doubt the most beautiful city on Earth...
Salzburg is without a doubt the most beautiful city on Earth…..and Austria is the most beautiful country on the planet. That’s huge of me to say as I come from Australia!!!
Everywhere you look in Salzburg there’s a spectacular view. The city deserves 56/10.
Everyone should visit Salzburg at least once - or ten times - during their life!

Beautiful city, located close to lots of sight seeing locations.
Highly recommend going to the Eagles Nest (The Kehlsteinhaus), it’s a short bus ride and you can walk up from The Documentation station without paying insane guided tour prices. I got from Salzburg, up and back for under €30. Took me 1 hour, 40 minutes to walk to the top.

A beautiful city with gorgeous architecture and parks. There is so much to do and see…. The castle, Mozart’s birth place, a Mozart concert, the Mirabelle gardens, rooftop restaurants, beer gardens, a coach trip into the mountains and surrounding villages.

I love Salzburg. It is beautiful in any season.
I love Salzburg. It is beautiful in any season. The old town with its churches, galleries, coffee shops and magnificent castle on the top of the rocks. We took the Festungbahn to the castle and had a lovely dinner with a view on the top of the rocks. We also strolled through the old town and took part in the 10 k Hervis run so we could see the mountains and the residential parts of Salzburg. We arrived by train and the journey was quite quick and easy. We had late breakfast at Café Tomaselli. Great coffee and cakes with a view from a balcony. There is still so much to see and do.

Beautiful scenery with mountains in the distance.
Beautiful scenery with mountains in the distance. Easy to get around on public transportation. Charming shopping district on Getreidegasse. Famous for the lovely Mirabell Palace and Gardens (where scenes of the movie The Sound of Music were filmed) and Mozart's birthplace.
LOVED the location and history associated with the hotel. On top of a mountain, great to hike to castles 🏰 and other historical sites. There is
a short walk on a trail to get to a lift (if you don't want to walk down the mountain) that will take you down to the old part of the city. Or take a taxi to Old Town for €14. Lots of shopping, restaurants, beautiful buildings, etc..
Scrumptious breakfast buffet with lots of choices. Rooms very clean and spacious with wonderful views of Salzburg and the Alps.
Check in and Check out was quick, the reception staff were friendly and helpful, they even provided me with a Salzburg Card to be able to attain quick access to all the attractions and museums without needing to wait in queue. The Hotel was in a a great location just 15 min walk to the city center and old town. The food for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner were delicious and the beds were very comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone and if i were to re-visit Salzburg again I would stay here.
The price was exactly what I had planned. When I was picking between the hotel restaurant Auerhahn and some well known hotels for similar prices, I wanted fine dining close at hand along with helping a smaller business. This is purely family owned and you will meet the same 2-5 people that handle everything each and every day. One more note on the food - it was some of the better I've had in Austria, not only Salzburg.
Exceptional location (2 mins walk from Salzburg central railway station with mall next door meant convenience as well as a plethora of dining options) of this hotel made it a winner for us! Room although small was functional and well-appointed. A bit far from old town where most of the attractions were but hotel which is well-served by buses and trains helps to mitigate this issue.
Modern, comfortable rooms. Friendly and welcoming staff that provided plenty of tips and information for our first visit to Salzburg. We also enjoyed a meal in both the Sky restaurant and the Pitter Keller, would recommend both! The hotel is located conveniently between the main train station and the old town — and most sights are within a 10min walk. Would happily stay here again!
We stayed here for 2 nights, Hotel is an easy walk to the old town, there are great bus links to the town & railway station.
The room is spacious, good bathroom and very good breakfast on site.
We were lucky to be able to have an early check in and also found the staff very helpful & friendly.
We would definitely recommend as a good place to stay in Salzburg.
Such an amazing building, actually attached to a Church.
Room was massive, there is 2 separate communal areas , one where you can cook , also a fridge.
Absolutely amazing.
Bang in the centre of the Old Town.
Superb Italian Restaurant next door.
2 minutes from the River.
Probably best place I stayed in Salzburg that wasn't an actual Hotel
Very good breakfaat
Room was very large with a light airy feel,. Very much utility rather than luxury. Breakfast was absolutely amazing both in quantity and variety, was now expecting hot food. Large carpark outside the hotel could not be better. Trolley bus halt 5 minutes walk away for access to the centre of Salzburg.
The hotel was a short 5 min walk to city centre with a beautiful view on the Hohensalzburg Fortress. The hotel has a parking in front which is convenient when traveling with a car. Breakfast was amazing with a wide selection. There is also a bar that works 24/7.
Amazing service and room.
Great hotel with very friendly staffs. Perfect location for exploring the city.
Rooms were tidy, and extremely clean. The breakfast is amazing, which makes me feel like home.100% recommend. I would stay here again if I back to Salzburg!!
A quiet hotel with sophisticated charm, helpful staff and within easy walking distance to Salzburg old town. Off road ssfe parking facilities. The bedrooms were modern and the beds very comfortable. Breakfast (vegetarian and largely organic) is substantial.
The location - near the Salzburg hbf and old town, parked in a branch street from the main road, so it's both accessible and quiet. The walk from hbf to the hotel is well pathed, wide walkway and easy to navigate. No problem for me with a 12kg luggage bag.
Location is convenient for Salsburg train station but quite a lot of drunk people hanging about around there at night, not the nicest of locations but handy for station. 20 mins walk into Salzburg and 30 mins to old town. Hotel staff were friendly.
Very clean and fresh hotel with pleasant design. Small but convenient rooms, excellent breakfast. Perfect location (with parking), the old town is 2 minutes away by foot. Views on the castle and mountains. Dogs are also allowed at an extra cost.
Free teas and coffees in the lovely kitchen. Staff were really helpful and nice. Friendly little hotel just a couple of minutes walk from the old town and Mozart's birthplace. Very cosy for a lovely little base in Salzburg!
The Hotel Location was Central in the Old Town and they Upgraded me to a Superior Room which was big and had a good view of the Salzburg Cathedral and the Fort from my Room Window.
Lovely hotel that meets all one’s needs, amenities and detailed touches give a luxury feel. Great location minutes to the old town, helpful and kind staff.
