We choose the property to relax and do nothing; the communal pool was clean and cleaned regularly in the early morning. The kitchen was fully furnished, with lots of extras in the cupboards, even has oil and seasonings, The town/beach was about a 10 minute walk downhill, with easy access to restaurants and shops and also the ferry was available to to all other towns around the lake.

Casa Barbarossa is a brand new apt, high-quality Italian design decor, spacious and confortable, fully equipped, with a private garden. Welcome up to 8 people, with a panoramic view of the lake, in a residence with a large shared pool and solarium Welcome up to 8 people On the 63 m2 ground floor you will find a bright Living room with a fully equipped kitchenette with oven, dishwater and dining table with 8 chairs, a sofa bed for two people, large flat television with satellite TV and direct access to the 13 m2 porch patio, with a dining table with 8 chairs, and about 130 m2 large garden, with deck chairs, sun loungers, and a BBQ. Adjacent to the living-dining area is a bright double bedroom with a large closet and direct access to the garden. A bathroom with toilet, bidet, bath and window is also available. In the 32 m2 basement is another bedroom with two single beds (or double bed), a bunk bed, a desk, a large closet and to en-suite bathroom, with toilette, bidet, shower and washing machine, the two rooms are illuminated by tree generous light wells (lights up). In the basement is a secure garage with direct entrance to the apt. CIR: 097023-CIN-00033
Villatico is an ancien rural village, the old Colico, with lovely views and rural buildings, small shops and some restaurants. Colico Lake Como is a sunny, lively place with good restaurants, bars and discotheque. The center of Colico with small shops and lakeside beaches are within walking distance or easily reached by bicycle. In Colico there are great shopping opportunities and about 1 km outside of Colico is the large shopping center Fuentes. Colico offers a multitude sports activities such as tennis, sailing, windsurfing, kitesurfing, sailing, motor boating, swimming, etc. The village of Colico is also an ideal starting point for hiking and mountain biking. From the pier you can reach the most beautiful places of the lake. Colico is located on the north-eastern shore of Lake Como, at the feet of Legnone Mountain, (2609MT.) Colico has three main beaches, one of which is in the locality Piona. From the small local train station you go direct to Milan (with lake-panorama) or towards Chiavenna / Sondrio. Well connected to the eastern side of the lake also by trains. Trecking routes start just behind the house, below the Legnone mountain (2.609 m)
