Heatherhill has magnificent views of the Indian Ocean, the Robberg Penisular, &Tsitsikama mountains. Turn out the lights, gaze at the Milky Way and distant galaxies. The mild climate offers everyone a lovely holiday all year round. With 2 cottages on 100 acres: isolation, peace, privacy are guaranteed. Leave relaxed & wish for longer. Just 2 mins to the amazing Keurbooms Beach, 10 mins to shops & the beaches of Plettenberg Bay. Or just Relax! BBQ, and sunbathe on the deck. Walk safely anywhere on our many paths, forest & gorge, even a stream. Dedicated to conservation, animals seldom seen walk through the farm: Bushbuck, Bushpig, Grysbok, Badger, Caracal, & Porcupine. The 40 hectare reserve offers a wide variety of wild flowers & “fynbos” making it a paradise for birding. Ideal for Fishing, Walking, & Biking. Don’t like Cooking? Enrico’s Italian Beach Restaurant for lunch, dinner or sundowner is just 2 minutes away; or 1 minute to Moss & Maple for breakfast & lunch. Free unlimited WI-FI & full TV.
Heatherhill is managed by Lisa. Her father Peter manages this "nature reserve" assisted by Jacob our Malawian gardener.Dedicated to Conservation we care for fauna and flora , clearing invasive vegetation, caring for our pristine countryside. We have minimal fences to allow the free movement of game. Guests must treat this as their home from home. Walk freely anywhere, relax, explore. There's lots to do or not do. We have no other animals except the wide variety that come maybe for a day or for years and go on their way. Heatherhill is in balance with nature, all are welcome. We strive to always exceed your expectation, offering value, service and quality. Our reviews and rating tells it all.
There are too many attractions to list but let's try: - Beaches of Keurboomstrand, Plettenberg Bay, and Natures Valley. - Sanctuaries of Monkeyland, Birds of Eden, Jukani Predator Park, Tenikwa Cheetah Sanctuary, Elephants Sancturay & Reptiles. - Hire a Boat & explore Keurbooms River with its beaches, safe swimming & picnic spots, maybe a seal will join you. - Ocean safaris launch from Central Beach to take you out in the bay to see whales, dolphin & seals. - we are situated ideally for Plettenberg Bay, Robberg Penisular, Storms River, Nature Valley, Knysna, etc. - the area is ideal for hiking, walking, biking, swimming, scuba diving, surfing, sea fishing, kayaking, bungy, skydiving, treetop zip lines, or simply fish for bass in our dams. - Plettenberg Bay offers a full variety of shops, supermarkets, restaurants, medical facilites, etc etc etc. But after a busy day come home to the tranquility of Heatherhill and recharge... or just stay here, sunbathe, BBQ, read a book.
