Standing in a working plant nursery in the outskirts of the historic town of Pistoia, the Casale is in a central position for many major monumental towns, the seaside and the mountains. Only 0,62 miles away from the Casale dell’Orso, and set amidst the glorious scenery of the rolling Tuscan hills, the Zoo at Pistoia stretches over an area of 18,50 acres, and plays host to over 600 animal species ranging from mammals to birds and reptiles.Routes are of varying lengths, and are ideal for walking, jogging, mountain biking or horse riding. Several renowned towns such as Florence, Siena, Pisa Lucca, Arezzo, San Gimignano, Volterra and Certaldo can be rapidly reached by car, bus or train.
