This is a first class destination resort that has everything when could want. It felt a little formal and her and the people at the desk seemed overworked. But the most amazing thing happened when we ask directions to a gas station, an employee who was not on his working shift, told us to follow him, he would take us all the way to this gas station! Wow, we were amazed! But! That’s not all. When we left, my husband forgot to put his credit card away, and they notified us several hours later, as soon as it was found. We asked them to destroy it which they did, and there were no charges made on that card. We were amazed and reassured!

Our stay at Sce Quiric was definitely the highlight of our trip. Everything about it was exceptional. The property and surrounding area is so beautiful and serene. The views are spectacular and you are right in the middle of them. The property has been renovated to the highest standard, so much attention to detail. Our room was absolutely beautiful, exceptionally clean and very spacious. The bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was delightful, Sofia did an amazing job of accommodating our dietary requirements and made us vegan chocolate cake which was a wonderful surprise and was delicious, along with fresh fruit, local jams and great cappuccino. Thank you Danny and Sofia for your wonderful and genuine hospitality. We wish we could have stayed longer and definitely hope to return some day.

The view! The rooftop terrace has an incredible view and has plenty of seating / dining space. Location is great if you want peace. It’s close enough to be easily walkable to the sights and necessities but far enough to get away from it a little. Neighborhood feel. Located on the Via Francigena route, at least the cycling version. kitchen is great and has everything you need to cook dinner - you’re on your own for all ingredients though so don’t forget some olive oil and other basics at the store. If the lack of AC scares you, I stayed during a heat wave and nighttime with the windows open was perfect.
