Moddergat is located in the north of Friesland, 5 km west of the Lauwersmeer nature reserve and 35 km northeast of the capital Leeuwarden. Nature lovers and peace seekers are at the right address here: go by bike to Holwerd and from there by boat to Ameland, or make a round on the Lauwersmeer (lake) with a coffee break at ?het boze wijf? in Lauwersoog. Lauwersoog is an Eldorado for bird lovers. Do you prefer walking? Around the lake you will find 125 walking routes. A day trip to Leeuwarden and Dokkum is definitely worth the effort.Bungalow Waddenzee offers you 3 bedrooms, two of them with washbasins, large doors to the terrace and a green enclosed garden with plenty of privacy.
