The hotel was in an ideal setting with lovely gardens and beautiful views. The room itself was spotlessly, clean, quiet and large. The staff was exceptionally helpful. There was a restaurant on site for breakfast and dinner. The food was excellent and a good value. Ronda was 10 minutes away, and other towns were easy and convenient drives from the hotel.

Absolutely fabulous place. So much history and so much to see. The views are incredible from so many spots. Just loved wandering the streets and finding the little cafes and shops. It’s a challenge in some hilly spots for those of us on the older side but I definitely could see myself living there.

A interesting place with breathtaking but rather scary views. We were surprised at the amount of tourists around as we’d never heard of the place until recommended. 2-3 nights would be enough though and perhaps take in a walk.
Found a fantastic little bar - with spanish guitar and flamenco - open mic. - 15 Arroba. Very friendly staff too.

Provided info to open the key safe for the keys but no mention that there were 2 key safe’s & which was the one to use. Wouldn’t normally be a problem but the police would not let us park the car outside apartment block to even access the key safe
No info on how to exit/enter car park on foot.
Car park very tight turns and small spaces so not for a large car/ SUV without scratching paintwork
No indication that there were 3 staircase’s and we needed “C” which was across the courtyard
On arrival we found that a green glass dish on the kitchen island had a foot missing
The living room shutter was jammed about 30cm up & wouldn’t open or close.
The shutter in bedroom wouldn’t stay open as strap was broken
The corner bath with shower had no shower curtain so bathroom floor would get wet
There was a coffee machine but no pods supplied, we bought pods to find the machine turned on but wouldn’t dispense coffee
There is a hole in the floor by the internal terrace door

If you want to get the best out of Ronda visit attractions...
If you want to get the best out of Ronda visit attractions early in the day as the town gets packed with coach parties from 11 am.
You need 2 nights to get the most out of the city with a day in the old town.
You need to watch out for pickpockets in busy areas they usually work in gangs of 3 men with 2 stopping in front of a person so you can get past them with the third trying to get wallets and pursues the police know this goes on but look the other way so they do not get involved

Ronda is very much worth visiting.
Ronda is very much worth visiting. It has extremely beautiful views and a very interesting history.
But as a well known tourist magnet it is also very touristic. Get up early a clear morning and try to have the views for yourself. When the daily tourist buses arrive from the coast you will have to cruise among large groups of people.
Ronda is actually very much worth staying a few nights. They have excellent hotels, even the not so expensive ones. There are also many good restaurants.

The apartment is spacious, tastefully furnished with kitchenette and a pleasant view of the square. We spent a significant amount of time gaining access to it alongside time spent completing payment. There were language difficulties which took time to resolve. We recommend that the owner looks at simpler ways of receiving payment.
The apartment is a long walk from the town centre and it was very difficult to find. We recommend that the owner gives simple information on its whereabouts alongside the booking confirmation, and with a clear map to assist. We also recommend that payment be made through the Booking.com's website.
Located in the heart of Ronda, this hotel is within easy reach of all amenities and attractions. While it doesn't boast luxury, it offers genuine comfort without any pretense. The rooms are spaciously designed, equipped with all essentials for an average traveler.
The value for money is outstanding.
Breakfast offers a decent spread, though a few more hot options would be welcome.
I'd definitely recommend it for a short overnight stay and also for longer visits.
Fantastic view of mountains and gorge. Spectacular balcony. It had a plexiglass facing (no bars) which allowed for an amazing view! Breakfast was included, and it was superb. One of the best I had while in Spain. Such a huge variety of options, plentiful and elegantly executed. Parador was in town, so walking distance to many attractions. Perfect and I would highly recommend. Just wish I had stayed longer than one night.
The Montelirio Hotel is perfectly situated in the city center of Ronda. One can easily and quickly walk to most of the attractions and the main shopping/dining areas in town. The heated towel racks and heated floors in the bathroom were a nice addition. We drove to Ronda and the hotel was very helpful on parking our car and having it available when needed.
This was maybe the best apartment on our trip through Spain. The location is about perfect and Million dollar views throughout. Couldn't believe we had rented it for mere Euros. Loved walking around the gorge and finding our apartment from different views. Expected small and dingy from the photos but it was clean and spacious.
The bridge, the bridge, the bridge.... great view from patio day and night!. Central location for all the sights. Very walkable area. Rustic charm and character of hotel. Value for the location, but was a splurge for us, compared to other villages with view. Parking a not to bad a walk compared to other old town villages also
The villa is a delight! It has everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a full hob and oven which is unusual in Spain. The outdoor kitchen area is a bonus. We also used the washing machine which is located in the utility area underneath the house. It was too cold to use the pool, but it did look lovely!
The boutique style of the hotel, helpful staff and breakfast were excellent. The hotel location is within easy walking distance of all that Ronda has to offer. Just 100 metres from the Puente Neuvo Bridge. Close by are a number of restaurants and the bus and train stations are a 15 minutes walk.
Excellent location with easy walking access to all parts of the old town of Ronda. The very small hotel is beautifully renovated, very clean, quiet and the rooms are a good size. WiFi is strong and reliable. It even has a lift so dragging luggage upstairs is not an issue.
Stayed here for three nights in this wonderful hotel. Nice location on the side of a hill with views over the outskirts of ronda en surroundings. Diner en lunch options are available and great honesty bar. beautiful pool and place to chill out. 15min drive to Ronda
The staff was accommodating and cooperative. Parking is free, which can be expensive in city centers in Spain. Decent breakfast -- loved the bread they serve! We also liked their homegrown and -made red wine. The place was beautiful and peaceful.
Stay here when in Ronda. You'll not be disappointed. Very nice staff, a roof terrace and view to die for and the best breakfadt we had during our holiday in Spain. We stayed in the family room on the 2nd which was very large and well equiped. .
Best price performance. Everything was in order - friendly stuff, clean room, good climate control, nice breakfast with sandwich, freshly squeezed orange juice and one of best coffee’s we had in Spain during our trip.
A great hotel in the center of Ronda, half a block from the bullring and block from puente nuevo. A perfect room with a nice bathroom and patio. The sunsets were magical from the property.
great location, lovely room with balcony and street view. Everything in the room worked. Breakfast included, which is rare in Spain. It was good, if a bit basic. Lovely staff
It was a very cozy hotel with a super location. All the important sights of Ronda were within 15 minutes. The room was comfortable and clean. The receptionist was kind.
