We couldn't enjoy Moraira to the fullest because of suboptimal weather and weren't able to relax at the beaches and had to dress warmly at the terraces. So we think we didn't see Moraira at it's best.
The plenty restaurants and terraces all were good with nice people. Also for the food and drinks.
Moraira is in an environment where lots and lots of north european people have a second house and spend their winters. The surrounding coastal villages all have lots of new or renovated houses where no spanish people seem to live.
We were there in the may vacation (containing 'koningsdag' this year) and Moraira seemed to be a Dutch village that week. It's up to you if this is an advantage or a disadvantage.

Lovely typical spanish town, good range of places to eat and drink. Nice relaxing vibe. Everywhere we went the staff were really friendly and we felt very welcome. Good market on a Friday morning just on the edge of the town. You could easily spend a weeks family holiday here without needing a car.

The town is very friendly and safe.
The town is very friendly and safe. So many places to eat for all tastes. Our favourites were El Nido for paella and fish, Stelis for Greek food and fish, Cap Dor, and a really good Chinese Restaurant.
The weekly market is well worth a visit.
Taxis can be a problem as there don't seem to be enough.

Moraira is a lovely town and whilst it attracts many tourists, it hasn't lost sight of its Spanish roots. It is filled with many great places to eat, covering most types of cuisine and budget - you cannot go hungry here! It is easy to get around the town on foot although it is quite hilly once you move away from the centre. Beaches are small but safe, just need to get there early, especially of a weekend as they do get busy.

Moraira is a beautiful place, with restaurants and bars to meet all different tastes. There are no high rise buildings exceeding 4 levels, beaches are lovely with sand or rock pools. Plenty for all the family to see and enjoy. Great parking near the market/fair ground (car park is free), and plenty, and 2 minute walk into Moraira.
It is a hidden gem and well worth a stay of a min 4 nights.

Wonderful small coastal village, mainly for villa owners.
Wonderful small coastal village, mainly for villa owners. Best hotel options : Javea Parador (7 kilometers away), The Swiss Hotel , Moraira (7/10), otherwise stay in a villa. Wonderful restaurants in the port-marina.
Small beach, small shops, no major entertainment - a quiet villa resort ; good for health and quiet restful breaks.
Go to nearby Calpe and Benidorm if you want a family "lively" holiday; not Moraira. If you are retired, wealthy and like a quite beautiful , healthy location - then Moraira is perfect
The apartment was beautifully furnished and spacious, in a very central position for all the cafés and shops in Moraira. What made the apartment special was Dani, the owner - he was so kind and friendly, going out of his way to be helpful, and taking the time to make us feel at home. Nothing was too much of a problem for him. The apartment was very well equipped- everything we could possibly have needed was provided. Despite the central position, the accommodation felt quiet and calm, yet only a few minutes from the beach.
Everything was perfect the location, near to centre and beach ,great view couldn't fault it one bit it was amazing. The ease of checking in.The outside space was perfect plenty of space. We have come to moraira slot this is the best accommodation by far that we have stayed at.The host was fantastic checking we had arrived safely, giving advice on great places to visit and eat, couldn't ask for more
A beautiful hotel, gorgeous decor and layout. Rooms very comfortable, air conditioning was fantastic with nice size balcony overlooking the pool. The breakfast was slightly limiting but enough for what we needed, a lot of meat and cheese available. It’s a great location as walking distance to centre of Moraira and also very close to the Algas Bar and a selection of restaurants.
Lilies is our favourite restaurant when we visit my husband’s parents in Moraira. It’s ideally situated for us. not far from them and the town. we also met them for lunch the following day at Lili’s which was superb. The accommodation was very good and we were impressed with the breakfast because they said it was a small breakfast but plenty for us.
Excellent location, near all amenities and beach , lovely house, 2 bathrooms, great facilities. Air conditioning in lounge and bedrooms much appreciated because it was very hot and humid. Loved Moraira, very nice resort with good eating places, great beaches, very family-orientated and very international. Highly recommended!
Location is great - a 10 to 15 minute stroll into the centre of Moraira.
There are great indoor & outdoor lounging and dining areas with plenty of space and seating for everyone.
The host reacted quickly to sort out the couple of hiccups we had and very kindly left wine, fizz and chocolates as way of an apology. . .
We stayed a couple of days in this very lovely hotel. Beautiful indo-chinese style, great pool very well equiped with sunbeds, a few palm trees to avoid being all the time in the sun, great breakfast and spacious room with a very comfortable bed
A great address while staying in Moreira
The apartment was so close to the beach and all the amenities in Moraira. The apartment was clean and had everything we required to make our visit a good one. We were able to check in and out at reasonable times.
Loved Moraira! The apartment was impeccably clean and with everything you may need. Andres and Lisa are amazing and are available for anything. We loved breakfasts in the balcony. Really, all was great!!!!
Everything was clean, working and complete, Distance to the beach and the centre of Moraira is perfect, The exterior of the house looks cosy and the terrace is nice and clean and has enough space.
Great apartment in the centre of Moraira town. Super friendly host who helped us get accustomed. Arrival and checkout went smoothly and the apartment was extremely clean and nicely furbished!
The location, view, staff and facilities were excellent. Right across from the beach. Good restaurant in the hotel. Rooms 401 and 402 are the best, with balconies and sea view.
Clean, spacious… and the balcony views!!! Location, location, location!!! It is a stone throw from El Portet beach and a gentle walk into Moraira. Highly recommend.
Lovely hotel right in the middle of Moraira. Good air conditioning and quiet even though in the middle of town.
Breakfast served in a courtyard garden.
