Our hosts went above and beyond for hospitality. If you stay here, ask about dinner. It was very special to have a home cooked meal. The food and wine was amazing. We lost count on all the courses of food. Then they had a huge spread for breakfast.

As soon as we arrived here in late September, we wished we had booked for a longer stay. We had a room for our family of 3 but there were no cancellations for the following day although we kept checking.
As others have remarked, this is an exquisite place and such a lovely respite which was so welcome after several weeks of traveling. Our room was very comfortable, all in the bathroom worked very well, our breakfast and dinner were delicious. I would really recommend that you stay longer than a single night. It is so worth it.

Quiet contemporary home with lovely grounds. Comfortable, firm beds. The breakfast! Host permitted us to make sandwich for lunch that was very helpful as restaurants sparse where we traveled that day in the spectacular mountains (San Biagio Plantini). You need small car- will be less limiting. Beautiful grounds!

The room was great and a good location for what I I was doing. The room was very comfortable and unique. I had lots of choices close by for eating. Parking was a short distance away, and I opted to pay for the parking to ensure I could leave the car there for two days. Cost was negligible. Excellent room and very helpful host.

The Romana Casale was terrific.
The Romana Casale was terrific. Better than we might have imagined. It is slightly outside of the town.
The town was difficult to navigate--the narrowest streets we have experienced, and you must climb straight up to reach open restaurants, near as we can tell. It is likely different during high season, with more things open.

The city has a particular charm very different from the towns in the Val de Noto we visited and one has a much stronger sense of thousands (!) of years of continual living and history. Make sure to visit the Villa Romana del Casale, fantastic!

Incredible historical area.
Incredible historical area. So many ancient temples in one place with detailed information posted throughout the site. Take a hat, water bottle, sunscreen, and wear comfortable shoes. It is easy to get around though not always on even ground. Easy to park at either entrance, allow at least 2 1/2 to 3 hours. There is also a cafe on site.

Piazza Armerina, the incredible Roman villa and mosaics was a highlight of our 12 days in Sicily. and absolute 'must' but recommend that you see the INCREDIBLE mosaics at opening or near closing time so you are not hemmed in by busloads of people and explanations from Babylon. (I speak many languages, but not all at once!) The town itself was very nice as well. Cute terraces, little park, beautiful historic buildings and little cobblestone streets. Ample (paid, inexpensive) parking everywhere.
(Regarding the B&B: the 2nd 'B' is supposed to refer to 'breakfast'. There was absolutely nothing! Many places in Sicily had a Q-code or such so you could go and have breakfast somewhere. A cute idea if you're not one who needs that 1st coup of coffee at rising, but this should be noted in the description prior to payment!)

This charming and handsome old country manor was the family home of a very nice lady who now owns and manages it as an agriturismo B&B. The grounds, including a pool, are a pleasure to explore and wander in. Breakfast is ample (including fresh eggs from the property’s free-ranging chickens) and the dinners, for an additional charge, are delicious examples of Sicilian cuisine served in a spacious dining room. The location is very convenient to the Villa Romana del Casale (Mosaic House) and the town of Piazza Armerina.
A special experience, unlike any other we've had in many, many decades of travel, including tasting the best homemade limoncello on the planet. As someone who choose Sicily as a vacation based on the food, this B & B exceeded our expectations, and will be a place we will probably remember forever. When we think back on Piazza Armenia, we'll think more of this property than we will of the incredibly mosaics that brought us to the area in the first place. If you're social and into food, book as soon as you can.
Fantastic breakfast. Unbelievable variety of cheese, ham, sausages, bread, selfmade pastries and marmalade. Just the breakfast alone is worth the trip.
We had dinner and Ettore is a fantastic chef. Fresh and very delicious food. Selfmade wine and limoncello.
Piazza Armerina is a nice Place to visit but actually we came only for this bed and breakfast and it’s been worth 1000%
Go there if you visit Sicily.
Ines and Ettore mille Grazie per la vostra calorosa ospitalita
Perfect location with an exceptional view of Piazza Armerina. Private parking provided for guests and also an abundant and delicious breakfast. Luciano is the perfect host, nice, welcoming and available for anything one might need. We had a huge room at the second floor. Breakfast was served in the other house and it was a good opportunity to see it and enjoy another perfect view of Piazza Armerina.
We had a wonderful one night stay at Negli Orti. It is close to Piazza Amarina, close to the Roman Villa and located in beautiful valley surroundings that are cool and pleasant in the night and mornings, even in mid-august.
Giuseppe and his team serves a great dinner with a variety of local dishes. The breakfast actually offered us the best cornettos we had during 7 days in Sicily.
I loved every detail of our room. It was very comfy and cosy. We visited end of march and the weather was sort of cold. And because this part of Sicily is very authentic and 'untouched'. I didnt expect to find hot water in the shower, but i was very surprised to find the shower having warm water. The croissants served for breakfast was yummy. Sonia was very welcoming and helpful.
Beautiful B&B located in the old town of Piazza Armerina. We visited while the town was in the "red zone" due to covid so our experience was not completely normal. But the owners were extremely understanding and allowed us to bring food into the hotel to eat dinner since everything was closed for dine in. Nice breakfast in the morning. We loved the balcony in our room.

Host permitted us to make sandwich for lunch that was very helpful as restaurants sparse where we traveled that day in the spectacular mountains (San Biagio Plantini). It is well located in the historic centre of Piazza Armerina, about 200 metres from tbe Duomo. It is quiet. Not far from shops. Tbe room itself is nicely decorated. In this lower apartment there is no kitchen. Bathroom and shower good. Massimo the owner kindly gave me a lift from tbe bus station.
Amazing pool in a beautiful garden setting.
Rita was very nice and communicative (her english is not as strong as her italian, but we managed well with google translate)
For breakfast she got us everything we asked for, with some extra home made jam and personal cannoli!
Piazza Armerina is a nice little town that deserves spending some time getting lost in is winding streets. The hotel is in a great location and the hotel is nicely decorated. The host is great and quite helpful. There are good restaurants in the area.
Wonderfull place, wonderfull host, lovely breakfast with homemade bread, homemade olives, oliveoil and organic fruits and vegetables. We enjoyed our stay here so much and it was one of our best stay on our trip around Sicily.
Grazie di tutto, Salvatore!
My husband and I loved our stay at the Panorama Suite! The breakfast was excellent, the room extremely comfortable, and both Nicky and Roberto were exceptional hosts. Would definitely recommend this place if you are staying close to Piazza Armerina.
We had just one night stay here on our tour around Sicily. The property was clean and the was room spacious. We visited out of season (March) so the town was fairly quiet but stunning views from the top. Perfect for a one night stop-over.
Location, quiet and cozy. The host, Davide, even took us for a drive around Piazza Armerina and gave us valuable leads to local restaurants. In the morning he made an excellent breakfast. A Five Star host
The location in the heart of Sicily and it proximity to such important places as the Roman villa and Morgantina. Also Piazza Armerina is a place worth discovering in its own right.noth
Clean, centrally located, good value room in Piazza Armerina. Great shower and use of a kitchen/fridge. Breakfast was in a cafe nearby - coffee and croissant with the locals. .
Amazing place on the heart of Sicily. The staff welcomed us and showed us the whole place including the animals and vegetable fields and we really loved the aura of the place.
