The location was great. Could walk to village and back in a couple of minutes. Down hill going. Uphill back. Loved the terrace with view over the water

- Very nice room, small but pretty new and renovated with care.
- very nice large balcony and great view on the forest and the see
- surrounded by nature and therefore pretty calm (except some loud brits down the road, but that s always risk in Greece)
- great bathroom with water pressure and believe it or not, a perfectly functional shower curtain, we didn't have to mop.
- even if we were disappointed with the check-in, we were very satisfied with the place
Delightful atmosphere. Good variety of places to eat.
Delightful atmosphere. Good variety of places to eat. Very friendly shops, tavernas and accommodation. Getting there from Giaos on arrival with your luggage requires pre-booking a taxi as there's a shortage. You can't wheel your cases along most of the roads on Paxos - they're too rough so you'll need to be dropped off as close as possible to your accommodation.
Lakka's beaches are lovely, with sand in the shallows so you can stand up comfortably. Avoid them across the middle of the day when the excursions boats are in as they get busy, but from 2pm they're quiet again.

Lakka is a small fishing village with a touristy front line filled with tavernas and caffes. The people are very friendly and helpful, the food is homey and delicious, and there's a peaceful quality to the place.
Everything is within walking distance, and if you need to go to Gaios, you can take the local bus. There are a few small pebbely beaches with quite beautiful waters, and a lot of boats. If you see sunbeds - they're probably for a cost of 8-10 euros for 2, be aware.
You can hire a boat (in advance) and travel to different beaches along the coast of the island.
If you want to calm down and unwind, Lakka is a great place for you. I fell in love with the peaceful quiteness of this village when visiting on a day trip a few years ago, and had to come back =)

The second biggest village of Paxoi.
The second biggest village of Paxoi. Probably best option for people looking to rest and relax. Gaios is only 10' away by car but we found driving around gaios a nightmare. This is a bonus for Lakka too.
Lakka offers a good choice of restaurants and a couple of bars by the port. You can see all of Lakka in 2 days max.
In 5' walking from the centre of Lakka you are in harami beach: organised beach, tranquile, beautiful and clean

Very pretty and lively town, good local bus service plus taxis. Some good walking. Beach very rocky but sandy once you get into the incredibly clean and blue water. Lots of facilities, including shops, markets, ATMs, bars and tavernas. We were there in September, so busy but not too crowded. Not sure how it would be in peak season, with lots of tour boats calling in.

Beautiful harbour with stunning sunsets.
Beautiful harbour with stunning sunsets. Never too busy but the good restaurants are always full, which is a good thing. You can have a decent cocktail sundowner and a posh meal or have a large draft and pitta gyros - both great quality. The nearby beach gets busy when the tourist boat comes in but that's only for a couple of hours on some days. The beach itself is lovely with clear turquoise waters. Feels upmarket but not over-developed. Very east to get taxis to nearby villages. Lakka is about 15 minutes from the port and costs 15 EUR.
The property is minutes from a beach and minutes from the town. The terrace has a fantastic view of the bay of Lakka and is raised above the footpath so you don’t feel overlooked. The hosts were very helpful and are onsite if you need anything.
Lakka makes for a charming short stay (we did 3 days). You don’t really need a car on Paxos but renting a boat for a day is fun (no licence needed).
Lots of nice tavernas for dinner and cafes for an early morning coffee by the waterfront. Drinks on the deck at Akis went down well.
Clean and well equipped apartment, traditional and lovely. Beautiful gardens and pool. We cooked at the outdoor kitchen twice, which was fun. Very helpful staff.
The location is very good - less than 5 mins walk to supermarket, Lakka, etc. We walked to several beaches, all within 45 mins - Orkos (stunning), Lakkos and Monodendri - along a mix of road, donkey track and pathways. Great way to spend the day.
This is our fourth visit to villa Christina and Tony and Julia have done a fantastic job of improving it both externally and internally since our last stay which was pre Covid. It is such a lovely location situated just above the village of Lakka and is far enough away to be away from any noisy bars but close enough to enjoy them, 5 minute walk at most. This will definitely not be our last visit.
a very rural feeling ,yet close enough to walk
beautiful gardens and one is surrounded by olive trees
The view of the north shore of Paxos is seen on the photo with wonderful sunrises and with birdsong abundant
the care taken on the bathroom tiles and the lace curtain in the sitting room reveals a well loved house
it was an honour to share all this beauty
The whole hotel inspires relaxation - a renovated mansion, only 9 rooms, a beautiful garden and a lovely pool.
The staff are exceptional. A huge thank you to Panayiotis for helping us organize our stay, to Maria for the warm welcome, to George for the laughs and last but not least to Fani for the exceptional service with a smile during breakfast and dinner.
So close to Lakka (and not up a big hill like lots of other properties!). Great pool and beautifully kept garden. Kostas was so helpful and always on hand with recommendations. Supermarket and bakery within a 2-3 min walk and Lakka only another minute past there. Lots of space to park any hired cars and lovely and quiet place to stay.
Very big apartment with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, right next to the city center (2 minutes to restaurants, market, bus station , Lakka golf), A/C in all rooms, great communication and support from the owner, beautiful wood decorations, all you need for a longer stay, including washing machines (both fior dishes and clothes).
The property was right in the center of Lakka & was really clean & comfy with everything you needed. The host always responded to messages & arranged a taxi from the ferry port. A cleaner came in every day & there was always bottled water & drinks in the fridge
- Comfortable room and very spacious
- kitchen with more appliances than we've ever seen i a hotel
- spacious balcony (or elevated patio) with furnitures
- good location
- the convenience of self check-in and its deposit box to leave the key during the day
Fantastic location right by the beach on the edge of Lakka. Gorgeous views. Comfortable beds and good mosquito screen. Great book swap in reception.
We stayed here 5 years ago and a lot of upgrading has been done since then. Very good value for Paxos.
The house is in a remote and secluded, peaceful location in the middle of a small forest, yet it remains close to the second largest viallge of Paxoi, Lakka. Mr. Alekos the owner is very kind and generous and helpful in parking and instructions too!
Very clean and comfy rooms in the centre of Lakka! Whatever you need is so close to Vassiliki apartments. As for the hosts, Ntina and Giorgos were so kind and helpful! I would recommend it for sure to anyone who is going to travel to Paxos.
The location and cleaning. Low Lina Studios is perfectly located with the small village of Lakka, and the different rocky beaches of the north west of Paxos, for the sunset lovers. Just few details to be fixed to offer a perfect staying.
Location and the view on the third floor.
The kindness and helpfulness of the owners who booked me the scooter for the entire stay, the taxi and the day of departure allowed me to take an afternoon shower before leaving the hotel
Incredible view and great location, with a short (but steep!) Footpath down into Lakka. Simple, as expected. Spacious for a couple and the cold cans of beer on arrival were very welcome. Loved sitting out on the terrace.
Amazing view, a hotel worth to be a guest of. Big and clean room with spacious toilet, very comfortable, the owners / staff were great and friendly, always willing to help and share info about the island.
Everything! Paxos is ridiculously overpriced so this lovely studio was good value - all newly and beautifully decorated. And the bed…it was more comfortable than my own at home!
