The room was spacious. Great location. Staff were really helpful. My room was really quiet. I would happily stay there again. Wetherspoons pub close by. Lots of parking spaces. Great WiFi.

the staff were exceptionally welcoming and helpful. the food was divine and we really loved the little "dog" decor touches. the rooms were exceptionally comfortable and luxurious with one minor giggle below..
Bourne Valley Inn is a traditional country pub located on the edge of St. Mary Bourne. The accommodations serves modern British cuisine in an award-winning restaurant.
Great centre for walking. Wonderful countryside and woodlands. Several walks straight from village. Worth a short drive to the Faccombe estate for the Jack Russell pub and orbital walk from there. Wonderful country pub at Hatherden, just 5 miles away. Good coffee shop in village.

It was a wonderful 3 days of staying in such a pleasant place. Lovely hotel, the acres of gardens were beautiful and the staff excellent and couldn't do enough for us.
We would love to visit again.

Very dog friendly hotel.
Very dog friendly hotel. But we stayed in room 4 and the stairs were very steep. Our old dog would not have managed the stairs.
We only stayed one night before we went to the races, so didn’t really see Hurstbourne Tarrant.

Lovely countryside pub featuring classic pub grub with a modern twist. Rooms are cozy and spacious, with a somewhat luxurious feel - eloquently shown in the size of the en-suite shower/bathtub! Pub restaurant is complete with a crackling fire and old-style gas lamps on the tables. Staff are friendly and work hard to accommodate your needs - in our case this was a later checkout time. Breakfast was delicious and great value for money!
Cons were the lack of staff on shift when we went for dinner; not sure if this was a one off or not but we waited for a long time to get a menu and they regularly forgot our requests. Hot water switches off at checkout time (11am) so be careful if you decide to take a bath or shower around that time! I do wish they would list allergens on their menu and have a greater range of dishes available for vegans and vegetarians.

My wife and I like a country atmosphere with old world feel (not too modern). This comes with disadvantages such as poor décor and not enough maintenance. Considering the price for a room this hotel is about acceptable. The disappointment is in the restaurant which seems to have a short set menu, so not good for a long stay. Also the food is too arty. Not much for the main course so be sure to ask for a starter as well. There are country walks but the hotel is not close to anything of note. 4 miles from the village.

Great place to stay. Staff were very welcoming. Room was ideal for one night stay, will book larger room for 2 or 3 night stay. Breakfast was a real treat, freshly cooked, and plenty of variety. With Newbury and Andover just 15 minutes away the hotel was ideally situated for exploring. Thank you to the staff for making us welcome.
Located in a quiet rural area. The hotel could be called quaint. The dining room was well laid out and clean, as were the lounges. Staff were good, and the price reasonable for what was provided. The jacuzzi bath was very nice. I came because of the restaurant review and was disappointed.
Food was excellent and all the staff wonderful. Room was good with brilliant view. We felt we were being pampered! The walk around Hurstbourne Tarrant, with directions given out by the hotel was just what we wanted to do!
