Casa molto accogliente, pulita ed ordinata. Suppellettili della cucina a disposizione, li abbiamo utilizzati per due cene e due colazioni. Proprietaria gentilissima e molto disponibile, siamo arrivati alle 2 del mattino in struttura per via del traffico incontrato sulla strada e lei ci aspettava dalle 22:30 per darci le chiavi e mostrarci l'alloggio, ci ha anche aiutato a portare le valigie con suo marito: SQUISITI!! Un consiglio: il posto non è difficile da trovare, ma per una persona non del posto sì! Fatevi trasmettere la posizione whatsapp dalla proprietaria che è perfetta per raggiungerla, le istruzioni fornite dall'agenzia sono imprecise (almeno per noi che arrivavamo stanchi e di notte fonda è stato così) e alcuni cartelli indicati (che servono come conteggio KM cancellando il parziale dell'auto) non esistono più o sono indicati agli incroci sbagliati.

Property info

The house disposes of a big garden, about 5000 sqm, of which 20 sqm are fenced for eventual domestic animals. There is a private swimming pool equipped with deckchairs, sun-umbrella, table and chairs, barbeque and pizza oven at the guests’ disposal. There is a small cottage on the property in which the owners spend from time to time a weekend in order to take care of the swimming pool and garden. Entrance on the ground floor: room with a big table, stairs to the 1st floor: kitchen with big fire-place, dining table, stove (3 flames), oven (gas), fridge/freezer, SAT TV, 1 bedroom with 1 French sized bed (120 cm), 1 bathroom with shower, wc, 1 spacious double bedroom with 1 additional double bed settee (walkthrough room), 1 bathroom with shower, wc, bidet, 1 bedroom with 1 bed and 1 additional bed to pull out underneath. There is another small kitchen on the ground floor with external access, stove (2 flames), fridge, microwave. There is a terrace in front of the kitchen equipped with a table and chairs for your dining al fresco, views onto the garden and the pool. The swimming pool is half set in earth, 3,70 x 6m, deep: 1.20m.

Neighborhood info

This spacious stone rustico (a former antique chestnut mill) lies at the beginning of the Garfagnana, only 6km from the important spa resort of Bagni di Lucca and 35 km from the city of Lucca. The property is set amidst meadow and woods. Guests can have magnificent strolls to the nearby small villages of Montefegatesi, S. Cassiano or l’Orrido di Botri (also known as the canyon of the Apennine) and discover the untouched nature.
