Lima is a beautiful city, a lot of attractions as an excellent food, as every little town in Peru, number one cousine in the world. Two things that need know : TERRIBLE TRAFFIC AND INSECURITY CITY AREAS. So be careful, don’t bring fancy stuff. Uber does work well there, check for another local apps.

Miraflores is really nice.
Miraflores is really nice. I've found transportation isn't easy in Lima. No subway per say only buses. To go and visit Centro was cumbersome. Only a few pick-up places for Tour buses around Miraflores.

This was not a part of our plans, just to get a nights rest before flying home. We went directly from the airport to Cusco, and this was the only way we could get to our return flight. As it was, I made a mistake on the timing of the flight (1am not 1pm) and so we had an extra whole day in the city. We really enjoyed it. The first day we did the tourist bus from Miraflores, and that was ok (tough to understand the English part of the dual language tour). We then checked out the coastal area briefly before going back. Day 2 was an adventure because I had messed up the flight timing. We made the best out of it by renting a car and going back to some of the areas we saw the previous day. We found a great vegan restaurant and got to check out the beaches, which are VERY different than anywhere I've been in the world, and I have traveled for 20 years on business. The people are pretty nice but almost exclusively speak Spanish. Google translate is your friend. A lot of drama getting to the airport at night, the traffic at 9pm was so crazy. But we certianly saw enough that we really don't need to go back. Two days is good for this place. And in our two days, it was really 18 hours total.

Lima is an amazing city.
Lima is an amazing city. If you are a city person you will enjoy. We stayed in Miraflores and walked a lot. Many great restaurants to explore. Loads of parks. People watching. We never felt unsafe. Historical Lima is great to stroll and take in the history. Ceviche ceviche and more ceviche. China town and the market. Request your pisco sour dry if you don't like sweet cocktails. I would go back in a heart beat!

This is not in Lima but in Playa Zorritos.
This is not in Lima but in Playa Zorritos. The condo unit was generally ok but it was missing things like a toaster, knives that can cut, a choice of pillows, sheets that fit and were not threadbare. Overall things needed to be painted.
Two stays at The Atrium, initially for one night in a double room upon our arrival in Peru, then two nights at the finish of our stay in Peru, when we booked the top floor suite, which has plenty of room and outdoor balconies.
Centrally placed in Miraflores, with good options for local restaurants, shops and for getting about the city.
Good breakfasts and great, helpful staff.
Hotel will book you a taxi which is great, or you can use an airport transfer bus from the Info centre which is also good.
Set in a stunning building, the hostel is right across Lima's Museo de Arte and Parque de la Exposición, the location is convenient enough to allow exploring the historic centre on foot (ca. 20 mins away), get to the airport (by Uber ca. 30 mins) or head to the posher area of Miraflores (ca. 45 mins on foot).
Staff was super friendly, and they serve a filling breakfast. WiFi was strong and reliable. There's even an atm on premises. The room and bed were decent and comfy.
Loved this hotel! Set in a quiet neighbourhood in Miraflores, a little way out of the centre but Ubers, cheap and readily avaiable. Friendly, helpful staff, lovely comfy beds, clean rooms with good storage space and a very nice balcony to sit out on - no complaints at all!
The breakfast in the pretty courtyard was lovely with quite a good choice. The facilities of tea/coffee downstairs was a nice touch and always available. Would def stay again.
Property owner friendly and very helpful. We stayed there on arrival at Peru. Gave us WhatsApp contact to ask for help if needed after we left them to begin our Peru travel.
Very cheap accommodation for Airbnb near airport. Great if you're taking an early flight out or a late flight in. Much cheaper than the Wyndham hotel inside the airport albeit you need to take Uber or Airbnb owner gives free shuttle to airport if he's available.
Loved this cute little boutique hotel on a small side street in Miraflores. The free breakfast in their little courtyard was wonderful and tranquil and I definitely took advantage. The staff was so friendly, too; I arrived in Lima with some sort of eye allergy / reaction and they were very kind while I was dealing with it (and otherwise).
The location is perfect for walking around Miraflores. The room was just what we needed. Ursula and Piero were very helpful, sorting our transfers to and from the airport, packing us breakfast for our early morning excursions and providing a great laundry service. It was the perfect accommodation for our short stay in Lima.
Hotel Antigua Miraflores is a beautiful and charming property. We loved the outdoor patio area and that they served food and drinks right at the hotel. Breakfast was included and was very good. Our room was very spacious. They had free filtered water available for drinking. The staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly.
This was a cute little boutique hotel in Miraflores. Staff was very helpful, staying up late to accommodate our late check-in. Room was clean and comfortable. Nice little courtyard and outdoor balcony for lounging. Liked how close it was to nice Miraflores restaurants and beautiful parks lining the seaside.
1. The location. In Miraflores and airport bus have a stop in front of the hotel. After a long haul flight, I need to find a place to have easy access from and to the airport so that I can catch the plane the day after. This is the best choice.
2. Spacious room and sparkles clean.
3. Breakfast included.
Excellent location, right across from arrivals. Modern place with the amenities you'd expect. Good price, but better value to be had (if it fits your schedule) at the Costa del Sol Wyndham Lima City in quiet and safe San Isidro next to Miraflores (cheaper and nice rooftop swimming pool).
The hotel organised our pick up from airport. We arrived quite late at night. The room was very comfortable and Ana Maria was so welcoming. The breakfast was very good with lots of fruit! Location is amazing. We could walk to Hauca Puclana and around Miraflores. Highly recommend.
Miraflores is a great place to stay in Lima. It was close to the ocean and Kennedy's Park and that was our main reason to book this hotel. The staff was super nice and helpful, he helped Us order a taxi, prepared breakfast for Us, which was great. Rooms were generally clean.
close to Lima airport if you need a short stay.
florangel was amazing. Gave us tea and some snacks for no extra charge. our last day in Peru was horrible due to covid, we wouldnt board our flight. miraflores picked us up and accomodated us last minute.
Amazing hotel in the heart of Miraflores. Lovely clean and spacious rooms and great staff. There is a cool cafe attached to the hotel which serves the best coffee and is where breakfast is served. I definitely recommend staying here while in Lima.
For an overnight stay in Lima before catching a plane out the next morning the hotel was ideal for me. Cheap, clean, and a 20 minute walk to the airport in the morning. The walk would be more difficult if you had more than a backpack.
Wonderful hotel in the centre of Miraflores. High international standards met in any respect. Totally supportive arranging trips and transportation. And we loved the roof top terrace. Best Pisco Sour in Town. We will come back!!
Friendly and helpful staff, most of them speak English. Excellent value at a good location: not in the center but a short (and cheap) Uber drive away from most Miraflores has to offer.
What an impressive place to stay in a super location in Lima, close to miraflores , and other Wonderfull places, Fernando the owner was incredible!!! this is the place to stay in Lima!
