Our dinner experience at @bombaybrasseriect was one for the books. Attention to detail. The extra special complimentary 20th anniversary desserts was so special. Since our last visit they have renovated and it's bigger and better. Food even better than I remember. Service is superb. Who needs to go to India when we have a gem 💎 like this in the city center. The staff is amazing 👏 give them a follow, and even if you are not staying at the hotel go for a dinner it is an experience. Cape Town is such a beautiful and vibrant city! Everyone we have met was super welcoming and friendly. However as the apartheid ended roughly 30 years ago you can still see and feel a lot of it’s remains. The hotel is beautiful and very well maintained, very clean and staff is very helpful. We had dinner buffet and it was really worth it. The managers was very friendly and helpful. Each staff member was friendly and not once was I disappointed. I am a very fussy person but I had no complains this weekend. Really good job to the staff of The Capetonian. Upon check-in, our room wasn't ready so the hotel stored our luggage for us while we went out so we didn't have to worry about carting our luggage everywhere. The hotel was safe and well-equipped. We did not have an opportunity to try the restaurants. The room was functional but just what we needed. Other accommodations in the area were more traditional and perhaps better appointed but they were also twice the price or more. Unless you plan on sitting in your room, this is where you should stay. Parking was also easy and excellent.
