Our recent visit to Mombasa was delightful blend of history and tradition. The costal city, reach with historical significance, has managed to preserve its original traditions, offering a unique glimpse into its vibrant past. A visit to Malindi was great idea. We absolutely loved Malindi for its tranquil atmosphere and well laid out city plan. There beautiful resorts for relax. Next time we visit Kenyan we will ensure that we have enough cash to avoid unreasonable ATM transaction fees.

Loved the beaches, the people and really no complaints other than the traffic can get pretty bad and also the wait for the ferry. I'd def visit again and again. I loved the tour of fort Jesus and the drive through Mombasa town. We had lunch at a place called char choma right on the beach front in Nyali, they have amazing barbecues. You definitely need a car to take you around Mombasa, anything less than that is not a good experience. Be careful with the locals, always ask the cost of their services before getting yourself involved. Google maps will be your best friend, it lets you know where the restaurants, shopping malls e.t.c are located.
