Casa Dos Milagres is derived from a Portuguese ship which got wrecked in 1687 close to tip of Africa. . The round shaped villa got inspired by the Swiss architect Mario Botha. It gave a very spacious feeling. Discover the marmorinos in the walls. It is bordering Cape Agulhas National Park and has an amazing view upon Indian & Atlantic intermingling Oceans. Migrating Southern Right whales can be spotted from both balconies as from August until end of November. Casa Dos Milagres offers self-catering accommodation and is only a short walk from the Cape Agulhas lighthouse. One of the apartments is on the lower level and the other unit is on the upper level. The upper apartment does give access through a skyroof to the flat roof. Both floors have kitchen facilities, lounge areas and en-suite bathroom. Towels and bed linen are provided. The property has barbecue facilities and free private parking is available on site. A range of activities are offered in the area, such as cycling and fishing. The Southernmost Tip of Africa, with its new landmark monument is 1.7 km away from Casa Dos Milagres. Struisbaai with its prestine long sandy beach of over 20km is within a 5-minute drive.
Nature, sport, culture & art lovers .
Extremely quiet and safe cul de sac. The entire area is covered with prestine fynbos vegetation. Amazing flower beauty in September & October. Whales(Southern Right and Humpback) to be seen plunging in the Ocean from balconies(August-December). Very rich in biodiversity. Sunrise in Indian Ocean(warm Agulhas Stream) and sunset in Atlantic Ocean(cold Benguela Stream). View upon the new Most Southerly Monument/Landmark of the entire African continent from Upper Balcony or flat roof patio.
