The resort was very clean and well-maintained, with well-groomed lawns and clean swimming pools. The restaurant was modern and spacious with a lovely patio overlooking a pond and waterfall. The staff were friendly and efficient. The restaurant menu is varied and the food was very tasty.
The resort accommodation provides something for everyone’s taste and budget. Our mountain cabin was clean and spacious. Although the decor is dated, the beds were comfortable and everything worked. It was lovely to sit on the patio and enjoy the view. Security is good and we felt safe.

The view, the room, the tub, the game drive… lovely and epic. The staff are great! Beautiful lodge, sunset game drive with TJ was fantastic (elephants, rhinos, drink cooler and snacks, sunset, everything!), lots of thought put into every aspect of the experience by the staff (greeted with welcome drinks, rose petals, dinner and breakfast set up was lovely) and felt very welcomed.

Bela Bela is a small town and everything is central.
Bela Bela is a small town and everything is central. I found that there wasn't a lot of things that can be done at a reasonable price except for the Warmbaths resort. Would've been nice to see the Big 5 as advertised, but we didn't get to see any elephants, although were told people on the game drives see them as the game rangers know where they are. The Lions are kept in an enclosure, but you are not able to view them freely, you can only see them on Wednesday and Sunday morning for feeding. Having said that we did enjoy our stay, it was relaxing, everyone was friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay again.AAnonymous - 6.0Scored 6.0

We stayed in the Mablingwe Nature Reserve, Private Residences, the ROCK COTTAGE, which I would never recommend as your safety is not considered even if the ceilings fall down, For me if you have great accommodation and comfort the being in the bush experience can be enjoyed, dont expect an animal safari.KimSouth Africa - 10Scored 10
Everything was perfect except that game driving was not...
Everything was perfect except that game driving was not available during our stay. We thought that breakfast was offered only to find out that where we are staying they don't bring it! We also didn't bring any food only to find out that the only shop that is there is extremely expensive then the following day we drove to town to buy our own grocery at known grocery shops. It's easy to drive around Bela- Bela. Next time we know that will have to bring with our own grocery since buying at the facility cost an arm and a leg!

We loved the house.
We loved the house. It was well decorated, had the comfort of a luxury home away from home with everything in the house needed to be comfortable. The kitchen cutlery and crookery was sufficient for my family and visitors. The game room was amazing. Both young and old were able to play the games that was available. The scenery is breath taking and we had a front row view of the lake which we enjoyed as well. I will highly recommend Fish Eagle Manor to any interested traveler and will rebook when I return to South Africa.

Most accommodation places are close to the city and the Forever resort which makes life easier. We had Christmas lunch at one of the exotic restaurant by the name of Rusty Grille. Spa places were also within the proximity of our stay.

Having the open bushveld in front of us was so majestic and we had lots of wildlife just strolling through the garden which was awesome. We loved sitting outside, eating and just relaxing. The staff can just improve on communication to clients. There was power outages and no water and we were not informed until we called to ask for water and why there was no Internet connection. Otherwise I definitely recommend this place especially for a romantic getaway. The lotion and body wash is a bonus to have.
