Excellent hotel beyond my expectation. Professional staff v friendly caring. Super clean rooms v delicious breakfast quality products. Everything was perfect, the place is really close to the ski slope entry. The room was bigger what we expected. The breakfast was delicious. And it’s easy to park with car in the backyard, or on the other side of the road. The room is quiet, we didn’t hear any noises. The staff was really friendly.

The hotel couldn't have a better location. The rooms are spacious, comfortable. The receptionist was also very nice and friendly. We stayed during off-season but seems like it would be great for skiing as well since the ski lift (which runs during summer also) is steps away

I understand there are plenty of walking routes at Semmering but the purpose of my visit was to view the UNESCO trans alpine railway on the eastern grade. I was lucky to be blessed with a full sun cloudless day. Plenty of trains made for a great experience.

Little but tiny place for skiing and walking/cycling.

Little but tiny place for skiing and walking/cycling. Not many shop and restaurant but clear and nice. If you book be sure, that you can have a dinner and where, if the hotel does not have a restaurant you might drive to Gloggnitz. Stuhleck is close which has more ski slopes and well daily maintained. Usually dogs are accepted and you can make good walks also.

We have been to Semmering many many times before and would recommend and urge people to visit. This time we hired a car from Vienna due to flight times but if possible, I recommend highly the train journey. Very easy access from the airport to the SudBahnhof and the holiday starts here as the historic railway journey includes stunning scenery, especially so when snow covered and spectacular tunnels and viaducts through the mountains. Cannot recommend this more, see for yourself. Semmering itself is peaceful, friendly, historic and stunning and if you are not a skier then have a go at the toboggan run....soooo much fun. Good snowy woodland walks too to burn off the excess calories which you may be subject too if you eat at the highly recommended Belvedere restaurant. Dont pass this by!

I'm reccuring to Semmering, still love it.

I'm reccuring to Semmering, still love it. Sometimes it's crowdy, sometimes it's enjoyable (this time Saturday was nearly unbearable and Sunday was wonderful). I've learnt already not to go there in February due to ski holidays, this time Saturday was a surprise.

Before going to Semmering make sure the ski resort is working. In google it says its working but actually its not. Contact the resort directly. I went there week before it opened to public. There is noting much to do there if the mountain is not open. The nature is very nice to walk around and enjoy. There is a small kids hill for sleds and stuff. Its perfect for a small group of adults, if you have small kids with you you will find it hard to get transport.

The apartment it's situated next to the Happy Lift and 3 minutes from Semmering ski lifts. Parking next to the villa! The host was very nice with us, waiting for us to handover the apartment keys in the late afternoon. The apartment was clean, modern furniture and the bunk beds were very comfortable. Room temperature adjustable between 18-26 degrees, very good heating system. The kitchen had all of the necessary accessories in order to prepare food. Billa market 1 minute far away from the apartment. We had a very good stay!

The owners were the absolute best. They went above and beyond to make sure our large group was taken care of. They even mailed us some ski clothing we had left behind. The rooms were comfortable and I really appreciated their efforts to help us disconnect and enjoy the space. The location was stunning! We went in January and the hills were beautiful but I could see how it would equally gorgeous in the summer months.

The property was excellent. Spotlessly clean with beautiful decor. We stayed in suite and the mini bar was nice extra touch. The suite had numerous radiators which was great after a days skiing. The host Andrea was around if needed but in a very unobtrusive way. Location is brilliant for ski slopes and we had use of wet room for our ski equipment and we could use the kitchen to cook which was a nice touch.

The hotel is perfectly located close to the slopes of Semmering, with beautiful mountain views. The restaurant staff is kind, cheerful and professional. The room we stayed in was brand new, stylish and spacious. Breakfast was wonderful and plentiful in an 'a la carte' style. We also had dinner at the restaurant and every dish we tried was delicious and well prepared.

Very comfortable apartment for a family of four, warm, kitchen was very well appointed, nice shower with good pressure hot water. Comfortable beds and good quality linen. There were even some toys for young children. Hosts were onsite and super helpful. Great location, walking distance from the train station, very close to ski hire, lift and learners slope.

The hotel is really close to ski slope and cableway at Zauberberg. Parking place is large enough. Breakfast was buffet (mostly cold) style and was very good. There was no orange juice, but apple and multivitamin were ok. Coffee machine was good. The slight disadvantage is that the breakfast is only until 9:00, even on weekends.
