The location was amazing! Derrick was a wonderful host. And his granddaughter welcomed us with the most amazing and beautiful cupcakes on arrival. Derrick gave all the best recommendations on what to see, where to eat, and history of the hotel itself.

The hosts were wonderful people, the property was very tastefully down with every room portraying its own unique story. The check-in process was seamless and the location was bang in the middle of the city. Strongly recommend spending some time at their Paris library which will make you travel back time!

Weymouth holds a special place in my heart as my Mum’s family all come from there and I spent a lot of my school holidays there. It has of course changed quite a lot but the beach is still fabulous for children and if you are happy to drive further afield there is Sandsfoot Cove which is a bit quieter than the main beach, and Portland with it’s exciting lighthouse to visit at the Bill. Abbotsbury Swannery is brilliant - beautiful and educational all at once and Monkey World just along the way is much fun. You can’t go wrong having a break in Weymouth.

We love Weymouth our travel time is about 90min away but we love to stay there when we can as there is so much to do. The beach is always clean and the dogs are allowed on a specific partof the beach in the summer. Good places to eat and fabulous old pubs to find out of town. The boot is a special little gem. The nightlife is good as there is always live music in the pubs. The harbour is a magical place to sit with a coffee or a beer and watch the bridge going up to let the boats go under. Also good shopping centre, a little run down in places but on the whole plenty of good cafes.

I have visited Weymouth ever since i was a child so it holds a special place in my heart. Its really dissapointing to see how many shops etc that are now closed though making the town centre look pretty poor.
We visited the Preston side of Weymouth as well though and this has got a lot better over the years. The arcades are fantastic, the scenery is superb and the prices at the cafes etc arent too steep either.

Since i planned to go to the tank museum in Bovington, i didnt spend much time in Weymouth itself only in the evening. Witch when it was time to leave, i wished i did things in Weymouth itself. Beauryfull coast city whit plenty of things to do.
The room (Rm 101) was spacious, overlooked the seafront and extremely well equipped. The large shower was excellent. The room itself was [almost] perfect. Of particular note were the specialist reading lights beside the bed (often missing in the best hotels). The picture shows view from our window.
The serve yourself continental breakfast was fine but not exciting.
We stayed on a Friday night and on returning to our hotel after dinner out found a superb jazz party going on in the bar led by a lady who performs there every Friday evening.
We enjoyed our stay at Seaham. The room was clean and tidy in a great location perfect for a short stay. Nick and Caroline were very helpful particularly with parking ‘Nick helped us find spaces which was all very helpful. The breakfast was very nice just what you’d need. Overall we had a very nice 3 night stay here and would recommend Seaham as a place to stay in Weymouth.
the location was first class with parking in local area , from the moment we entered the hotel the staff were very warm and friendly. The room was spotless with good quality bedding and towels . we very much liked the bar on the courtyard in front of hotel nice to sit with a beer and watch the world go by .
I’m already looking to book again in September for a week
Absolutely delightful stay. The room was quiet, spotless and had all we could need and more. Lovely clean bathroom with great quality toiletries.
Nothing seemed to be too much trouble. Even putting up the extra bed.
Breakfast was yummy and the home baked bread was a treat. I will definitely book again next time I am in Weymouth.
The hotel was recently remodeled with close attention to upgraded carpets/pads (quiet) and a comfortable bed. The room was equipped with an efficient portable cooling unit, and the color scheme provided a touch of class. Location was great. Management/owners made themselves readily available to any need you may have.
It is convenient for us to visit family in Weymouth. Great to relax in the bar and have a drink and meal either in the bar area or restaurant. The swimming pool, sauna, and jacuzzi is a bonus, don't think there are many hotels that offer this for a very reasonable price to stay.
The location was good for us, its an easy driving distance to Weymouth or anywhere nearby. Good parking space available off the roads unlike most hotels in Weymouth around the seafront.
The price for two people was also pretty good compared to everywhere else in town.
Very friendly host. Lovely clean room with kettle and drinks. Excellent self service breakfast with fresh fruit, yoghurt, every kind of cereal, toast, jam, honey, marmalade.
The location was excellent on a very quiet street but a 15 minute walk into Weymouth.
The location is good but that’s about it. A former grand seafront hotel allowed to deteriorate. Sadly my room was a rear facing in dire need of renovation. The shower pressure was non existent, the walls were dirty and the furniture was from the 1970’s.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Great breakfast. Service was beyond what you could really have expected. When I look back on Weymouth part of what I'll remember will be this hotel.A great example of why bed and breakfasts can be better than hotels.
Everything, superb owners, breakfast, disabled parking, spacious comfortable room with the finest shower room we have ever encountered. In short the best hotel we have ever stayed in.owners went beyond to make us feel both welcome and special.
First time staying at this hotel, couldn't fault anything,we took our 4 month old puppy, very dog friendly, she enjoyed it as much as us.very clean ,our room was nicely done, staff very friendly, and right on seafront, definitely go back.
The apartment was compact but had everything you needed for a comfortable stay, it was clean & private with parking & is only a few minutes walk in to weymouth. Antoine & Kristy are very accomodating & there if you need any assistance
The location was perfect, by the seafront and practically in the centre of Weymouth. The hotel was clean and the rooms were named after books, with a copy of the book in the respective room name.
The hotel is dreadful there is simply nothing to like about it. I would say the location is fine we wanted to be in Weymouth but that's all I can say is positive about it
The owners were amazing, breakfast was delightful, offered to give us a tour around Weymouth, places to dine out and even parking facility suggestions.
