Gorgeous hotel room looking out over the sea. We even saw dolphins on our first morning! The breakfast was very generous, tasty and well-presented. The people in reception were very helpful and provided us with hints and tips for exploring the area. Will definitely be back!

Altea is a beautiful location with a classic white-washed mediterreanean "old town" and a lovely beach. It seems like a popular tourist destination, and restaurant and hotel staff are very helpful, friendly and gracious. Although many Spaniards eat dinner very late in the evening, I appreciated that Altea's restaurants are available to visitors seeking earlier meal times!

It's a nice town to visit if you are in Alicante and looking for a weekend break. The old town has character. Prices are more expensive than other places in Spain though and it seems to attract wealthier people. Avoid the over expensive restaurants near the top of the old town. Valor is a nice Spanish cafe for churros and coffee. Overall it's a nice spot.

Altea is a beautiful location rising above the coastline to the stunning Old Town. Plenty of restaurants to choose from both along the promenade and within the Old Town. Locals are very friendly and there is a reasonably good taxi service. Train runs from Denia to Benidorm at hourly intervals and is very reasonable.

Altea is absolutely stunning.
Altea is absolutely stunning. A lot of work has been done to support the seafront and they have done a magnificent job. The seafront is full of lovely bars and restaurants. The old town is whitewashed, rambling and vibrant. The shopping is great both mainstream and artisan. Altea is truly the jewel in the Costa Blanca’s crown.

Fantastic location on the beach and yet in central Altea close to supermarket and the old town. Amazing views and sun-rise. The flat is very comfortable, superclean and well equipped with everything you need, including all cleaning materials. The welcome pack with snacks and drinks was much appreciated. Paul and Veronica were always helpful and gave us vouchers for a delicious brunch at Caprichos. It was also great to have private secure parking - approx 5 minutes walk - in such a central area.
The property was very spacious with 4 seperate bedrooms allowing for privacy.
The balconies and terrace were a nice luxury to enjoy the stunning views to the sea and close by surroundings.
The property was nicely decorated and was very comfortable for a group of 6 people.
The old town was a short walk away which had lovely cafes and restaurants for alfresco dining.

A lovely villa to stay and explore beautiful Altea 😎
Just wonderful. We had the best time. At two minutes from the beach and just a short walk from the old city-city center, the location was just perfect. The room exceeded our expectations, with a private, cute balcony to have a glass of wine and enjoy the sunset. Incredibly organized and clean, the staff helped us accommodating our request to leave the luggage before the check-in time, making our stay even more comfortable. Enchanting!
Beautiful boutique hotel a stones throw from the train station. We were greeted by a lovely lady who helped us through check in then showed us to our room. We had been upgraded to the apartment. Absolutely stunning. The decor Cleanliness and attention to detail is superb. We would highly recommend the blue sardine xxx

The location is really great, the room was nice and spacious and clean.
The price was of course not the cheapest on the market, but I'm still happy with it, considering I booked only a day or two in advance, and I had complete privacy there.
Decor and facilities were beautiful. Fabulous breakfast with the best pancakes I’ve ever tasted. Steven and Martin were excellent hosts providing help and info when needed but also allowing guests their privacy and space.
Villa Gadea is a good 5 star hotel, the pool and common areas are really nice. The staff was helpful (we arrived very late at 23:30h…), and they were able to accommodate a crib and room service at that hour.
Ocean Lounge is a bright and modern Hotel, it is spotlessly clean and is located right near the harbour in Altea, giving amazing views! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay again!
The apartment was spotless and located just below the beautiful church and picturesque square. Amazing 180 degree view from the balcony of Altea and the surrounding mountains.
The place is a hotel (not hostel). Very decent 3 star hotel with a beautiful view. We had a balcony with sea view. Super clean, very friendly stuff. Nice breakfast for 2.50
Beautiful and spacious apartment with a lovely garden. Great garden view over the bay and the Old Town of Altea! By car it's only a 10-15 min drive to Altea.
Nice big apartment, comfy beds. Mostly quiet. Beautiful views over the sea and the Altea Hills. The English speaking Gloove representative was very helpful.
