We loved our stay at this charming and unique property.
We loved our stay at this charming and unique property. It’s set right in the picturesque Alpilles with the most wonderful friendly hosts and lots of horses! What could be better? The breakfasts were amazing and the location is right near many other sites and villages to visit. The property is large and very private with many outdoor sitting areas to enjoy. The house is within walking distance to the tiny village of Paradou and a first rate Bistrot! Perfection in Provence!

Le Paradou is a charming small commune of the Parc Regional Des Alpilles, one of circa 18 small villages/towns within the Parc area. Like other nearby villages, it has one main commercial street and smaller "chemins" branching out from it towards olive groves and vineyards. It serves as an excellent location between all communes of the Parc, and with a rented car, you can tour all nearby roman ruins, castles, museums, wine chateaux, and olive oil domaines. All 18 towns are within 30 minutes at most from Le Paradou. For food lovers, the area has a handful of Michelin Guide restaurants not to be missed.

The hotel is beautiful and spacious and feels more like a large hamlet than a hotel. The staff are unbelievably friendly and helpful, and went above and beyond to accommodate my boyfriend on crutches so that he was comfortable. The room was large and the hotel has a very spacious feel due to there being no large blocks anywhere. Le Camino Bleu has great food in a lovely setting and the staff are all very friendly. The barman and sommelier were fantastic and offered delicious cocktails, wine and organic beers. The hotel is also very close to a large chateau and vineyard, along with a very pretty town where you can lunch/dinner and aperatifs. There are no downsides to this hotel unless you like large open views and large pool areas. I would approach their Michelin star restaurant with caution as you don’t know the menu until they bring you each dish. Unfortunately the food was a bit hit and miss for us but the sommelier made up for it with some of the most delicious wine we’ve tried.

You need a car to get about really.
You need a car to get about really. Paradou is small but has a decent boulangerie, butchers, and spar shop. Couple of restaurants, but they were pretty expensive. Les Baux is just up the road, and worth a visit.
This private, secure house was exceptionally clean and very well maintained! The air conditioning worked very well and the fridge was a good size! Chantal and Christian were very friendly and helpful. Paradou is a beautiful village and perfectly positioned to visit a large number of sites and attractions throughout Provence. The local Boulangerie had some amazing local breads. You will enjoy a stay here!
The hotel is gorgeous, surrounded by cypress, olive and pine trees to name a few. You will spot at least a dozen different types of birds during your stay. The rooms are very generous and the bathroom is very well designed and spacious. The bed mattresses are among the best we tried. And last but not least, the food experience whether on breakfast or dinner is a must.
We had a lovely stay at La Paradoune 3. Breakfasts were excellent and the room and gardens are beautiful. It was lovely to sit in the garden and swim in the pool after a day sightseeing.
Nadia and Serge are delightful hosts always willing to make restaurant reservations and offer advice on the area.
Wonderful Lily the little dog was a bonus.
Will stay again.
This is one of the loveliest places I have stayed for a long time. Mathilde is a wonderful hostess, and her breakfast is superbe. It’s a gorgeous old building which has been renovated with style and elegance. The icing on the cake is that it’s next door to the Bistro de Paradou, one of my favorite restaurants.
Spacious, super clean and comfortable room, charming hosts!! and generous breakfast with home made jams and pancakes:) amazing garden, and beautiful decoration. Highly recommended for vacation in a peaceful area and for touring the Provence area.
Location is perfect, on a beautiful horse farm overlooking the Alpilles, with a fantastic restaurant next door and a short walk into the small village of Paradou with other lovely villages, wineries and olive farms a short drive away
Stylish family run hotel with smallish but clean and comfortable rooms. Excellent dining and excellent service. Pool & Garden was a bonus. A pleasant, safe walk into town and 10 mins in the car from stunning Les Beaux.

The location couldn't have been better for us. Opposite the new Bec restaurant which was superb and near Bistro du Paradour which is our favourite in Provence. The renovation was excellent, best shower ever.
Good bread delivered, good selection of restaurants in easy walking distance and easy driving distance to places of interest we wanted to visit.
Quiet as out of season. Good view of the hills.
