Very friendly and warm people, clean rooms and facilities. I would definetly recommend it.
We were very satisfied and impressed with the place to stay.
We were very satisfied and impressed with the place to stay. It is located in a peaceful and quiet village. There is a small, guarded beach. The owner welcomed us and sent us off very cordially. It guides us where we can eat. For the two days of our stay, she brought hot breakfasts for the kids in the morning, which was super nice. The room was very clean and cozy. The kitchen had the essentials for cooking. We were in a sea view ground floor apartment with an outside seating area. Near the accommodation there is a small shop and a restaurant offering salads, pizzas and sandwiches. A 10-minute drive away, there are a variety of seafood restaurants, ice creams and bars in Agria.
I recommend it for people who love clean sea and peace!

Platanidia is a small village with underdeveloped commercial...
Platanidia is a small village with underdeveloped commercial facilities - there are very few shops and restaurants.
On the other hand, it is not overcrowded and, if one arrives well equipped, one can have quite pleasant and calm vacation.
Platanidia beach is on the shore of Pagasetic Gulf (Bay of Volos). However, these comments will likely be typical for any similar basin. The gulf is a relatively closed body of water and it is difficult for water to get cleaned in a natural way. Therefore there are sediments on stones by the shore. A less appealing features, due to human contribution, are the abundance of anchors left behind on seabed; plastic trash is also apparent; but my "favourite" findings were scrapped car parts, including tires and parts of exhaust system.
On the other hand, sea was calm, unlike the Aegean Sea on the other side of the peninsular.

Exceptional location by the sea. At sunset we went out of the garden and sit on the private beach with a glass of wine. Perfect. You can walk to the closest Taberna walking on the beach (give my regards to Yannis)
The house shine of cleanings. You have a complete kitchen with all you may want.
The host Nana is wonderful giving all the info and help you may need.
We are just waiting to come again

Great hospitality, lovely and generous people.
Great hospitality, lovely and generous people. The appartment was immaculately clean and is fully equipped with every kitchen appliance, 4 different types of coffee, sugar, jams, biscuits. We were offered fresh vegetables from their garden every day and our hostess baked fresh cheese pies every other day!
Literally next to the sea, stunning sunsets in Pagasitikos bay. Convenient location for day trips to Pelion villages.

Good access both to Volos and it's shops and to the beaches...
Good access both to Volos and it's shops and to the beaches along the coast. It is recommended to have a car because you do not want to miss the lovely places both on the west coast (where the Villa Kallimanis is) as well as the spectacular beaches on the east coast (Papa Nero, Milopotami and others).
Do not miss the Pelion Train (it's station is close to the Villa) and the beautiful view you get from the train as well as from the small mountain town of Milies (the end of the train journey).
Our favorite tavern was "1900" in Kala Nera, the village next to Platanidia - good food and lovely grill :)
