The location is unbeatable: right on El Estanys beach which is the best beach for swimming in all of Mallorca. Beautiful views from the room, and EXTREMELY friendly and attentive staff. Good breakfasts. Clean room, with a balcony and great water pressure in the shower and a very nice Climalit double paned windows that blcok all the sound. Beach towels, chairs, and umbrellas are available at the front desk.

Staff super helpful! Breakfast was amazing and exceeded our expectations! We were especially grateful for this since it rained during our entire stay and was too cold to do much. So nice to sit and enjoy the amazing food, drink, and view! Beds and bedding were high quality and very comfortable. Would have appreciated the bathrobes and slippers had we the opportunity to use them. We weren't able to enjoy it, but the rooftop area looked amazing. Everything was clean and the hotel had the feel of a 4 star establishment.

We enjoyed walking along the beaches to the north and south...
We enjoyed walking along the beaches to the north and south of the town. One day we took the boat to the island of Cabrera and enjoyed walking along a track towards the other side of the island. There are numerous places to swim along these coastlines, the water being very clear. We liked the quiet atmosphere in the town that has a good number of restaurants, cafés and shops, dotted around, including the central area of the town.

A very nice holiday destination.
A very nice holiday destination. I came to attend Best Fest, an open water swimming event. Colonia Sant Jordi is a wonderful destination if you want to swim, cycle, run, go walking or just relax on the beach. It felt a safe place to stay and everyone seemed so friendly.

I love that it doesn't attract loud brash tourists.
I love that it doesn't attract loud brash tourists. It is very unspoilt & real Mallorcan Culture shines through. The food is fantastic & the beaches are stunning. The waters are gorgeous for swimming & there are some lovely boat trips from the port. We visited the beautiful island of Caberra & the Blue caves. The Gelateria is a must place to visit!

Having owned a family property in Colonia for over 18 years,...
Having owned a family property in Colonia for over 18 years, the town is (in my opinion) one of the best places to holiday in the entire Med. The beaches are famous for a reason and during peak season they can get busy, however, if you’re willing to walk a little further, your own private beach (essentially) awaits you. A must is Es Trenc and Es Carbo. The water is crystal clear and the marine life sublime. It is not uncommon to see sting rays, jelly fish and fish just off the beach.
The town itself is broken down into the high street and the port. A short walk away from each other, they offer cuisine and bars for all. Everywhere I have ever been has been accommodating of all nationalities and make you feel welcome and special. A must for food is Laos Club, 5 illes, Cassai Beach House and Marisol. It can be quite expensive but the quality is out of this world. Be sure to book in advance.
A secret of Colonia is by the Hotel Sur Mallorca, where there are steps into the sea, where an old tour boat used to dock. Enjoy floating around in the sea and the amazing marine life such as octopus that are commonly seen. This is also the best spot to see the sunset from in the whole of Colonia.
For sun rise, take a walk down to the port and make your way around to Es Carbo. Regardless what time of year, I can guarantee it will be almost deserted.
It’s a 5* destination.

The location and view are probably the best in town. Paradise is in your front yard, and everything you need or desire is conveniently within walking distance; supermarket, bakery, restaurants, bars, the front port, beuatiful beaches, and the l'avenida. Cala Galiota is the most beautiful cove with clear waters and great snorkeling, though swimming access takes careful navigation. Migjorn Cel is a contemporary, clean, well-lit dwelling in the heart of Colonia de Sant Jordi.
The rooftop bar and pool were spectacular areas to hang out, as was the restaurant used for dinner and breakfast. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming. Very modern decor, clever use of Mallorcan traditional fabrics and color schemes. We loved our room—though it was advertised just as garden view we could also see the sea. Just a few steps away from a great local beach. Bit longer walk to Es Trenc beach, but would be a quick drive.
I do recommend this hotel!
Spacious outdoors with beautiful swimming pools, and multiple nooks to retreat and relax. The cheaper rooms in the old building are better in my opinion. They have large ceilings and are in good shape. Snacks and drinks available during the day are delicious. Breakfast buffet is rich and provides savoury as well as healthy options.
Loved how it was a smaller complex making our stay much more personable! Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We appreciated the cleanliness and balance of fresh towels while remaining eco friendly. Great location near beaches, boutiques and restaurants. Pool was never packed and the hotel restaurant had great hours. Highly recommend and will be back!
My and partner living in Switzerland , travelled to Mallorca and spent a lovely 6 days holiday there. And we stay in hotel Honucai.
OVERALL : GOOD
Staff are very very friendly and helpful. Room service especially cleaning 2 times / day is so appreciated. hotel has a great location that access you to beaches and great restaurants within 2 minutes walk.
The hotel is beautifully renovated. The staff are beyond welcoming and super helpful. Rooms are extremely well presented and cleaned on a daily basis with the beds also being turned down every evening. The pool area is clean and quiet and the pool bar is very relaxing with a lovely, varied menu and absolutely delicious food and excellent service.
Fantastic hotel with a wonderful rooftop pool and bar! The staff was very helpful. The breakfast and dinner is amasing. The breakfast coffee is the best I have ever drunken in a hotel. Fresh orange juice. The hotel is 50 m from the beach with a magnificent view to the sea.
Appartement was modern, very clean with nice spaces. Fully equiped kitchen is an extra. I was also happy that the appartement was equiped with the heating, as we stayed there in January. Situated close to the beaches, restaurants, hiking areas..very nice place to stay.
Very polite and hospitable owners Joan and Tomeo. They do everything to keep your stay comfortable. Very clean (thanks to the cleaning lady), great location in the town center and the excellent restaurant embedded into the hotel.
Location is good.
Beaches are close but if you want to get to a better ones like Platja des Trenc it will take around 30 minutes on foot.
Dinner was delicious with some decent variety.
Friendly staff.
The room is cleaned daily
The staff is courteous and friendly. The hotel has tones of activities to offer like swimming, ping pong, tennis etc. It is within 20-30 min distance from some of the great beaches in south Mallorca. Overall an amazing stay.
Very nice location, close to the Platja Estanys. Easy to move in, charming smaller building. Good value. We used it like a hub to explore Mallorca, but we could stay there more and enjoy the beach.
