FARM ON 50,000 SQUARE METER. RENOVATED FARMHOUSE. PRIVATE POOL. ALL ROOMS WITH AIR-CONDITIONING. MODERN STANDARD. PRIVACY. SEVERAL LARGE TERRACES. TABLE TENNIS. 10 MINUTES DRIVE TO THE BEACH. This beautifully situated old finca with only 4 km/ a good 10 minute drive from the famous beach and village of La Herradura has been rebuilt and totally restored over the past years. It offers a unique 1,000 square meters recreation area with several separate terraces that give plenty of space for a range of activities, including dining, relaxation and swimming. The area is fenced in and well lit during the hours of darkness, in order to secure privacy and to prevent small children from leaving the area without their parents’ knowledge. There are comfortable beds for up to 20 persons + a baby divided over 8 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom (not all are en-suite) with showers. Two of the bathrooms are also equipped with washing machines. Most windows are fitted with mosquito nets.
Welcome to my very special farm, were you can enjoy spending time on a 50.000 square meter private terrain, pick avocados, citrus fruits or almonds and return to the farmhouse to make wonderful dishes. I promise you a Spanish holiday full of adventures and impressions in totally peaceful surroundings. My name is Olav, and I bought this farm back in 2009 and have later renovated and modernized it to what it is today. In 2022 I have purchased the other half of what previously was a semi-detached house, meaning that we from 2024 will offer even more guests to stay.
ACTIVITIES: The recreation area offers plenty of opportunities for recreation and sports. POOLS Pool no 1 is located at the main terrace just at the front of the house and measures roughly 4,50 x 2,50 meters. Pool 2: The steel walled "on the ground" pool measures 730 x 375 x 120 cm. It is ideal for children to play around in, but also highly suitable for adults to cool down in on hot summer days. SPORTS: There is a outdoor table tennis table, a solid basket for basketball. TREKKING: There are several trails leading from the finca towards the surrounding hills and mountains. The walk between the finca and La Herradura takes about 50 minutes uphill from the village (less downhill from the finca), and is really worth trying out, thanks to the beautiful scenery and the good exercise it offers. ACCESS: The road towards the finca is rather steep and curvy and lacks modern road side protection. However, it has a hard surface and is considered good compared to other country side roads in that part of Spain. SEASONS: The finca can be visited all year around!
