The place is exquisitely well stationed. It is well posted from Elim and Bredasdorp sides. The gravel road is smooth sailing. The room is spacious and well kept. We arrived during a tasting session with some lekker pre Xmas music, it was quite fun. The bathroom has both a bath and a shower with good water pressure. There's a geyser monitor in the bedroom so you know how hot the water is before you even get there. These are Cottages from a bygone era, we loved the vintage doors and knobs, windows and the feel of the 1800s mixed with current fittings. There's a built in braai stand and an outside movable stand. Quality wood is supplied with firelighters. There's beautiful garden with a pond and lovely views to die for. Just a few suggestions: the mattress is slowly nearing its end of comfort. The couch cushions need some refirming. Bedside and shower mats would be an advantage.

It’s location in one of the most remote and unspoilt locations; the cottage gardens; the delicious wines which we know well but never tire of; our morning run around the property and vineyards.

Ocean cottage was a lovely cosy place just right for the two of us. The large bed was very comfy, and the indoor braai was great for cooking a simple dinner. The vineyard is beautiful and is really quiet at night. We were lucky the staff turned on their generator in the morning so we could still have warm showers and boil water for coffee/tea despite the load shedding. The gift of a bottle of Rose wine in the fridge was a lovely touch.

The cottage was lovely and had everything we needed. It was very comfortable and had lovely decor and ambiance. We loved the fire inside that we could braai on. The garden and setting is gorgeous. Loved being able to walk over to the winery for tasting.
