It was not easy to get around Izmir as there were not signs in English. And there were not booklets in English for tourists to be well oriented in the city.
We enjoyed the boat trip and walked along the seaside.

So many things to see on day trips from the area: Ephesus, Pamukkale and Hieropolis, Cesme, etc. What's left of old part of town is worth a visit as are the remains of the ancient Greco-Roman town (though a lot is currently closed off). Much of the city by the water is 'new' because of the destruction of the 1922 fire, which is sad. But a great experience overall (even the taxi drivers are nice and honest, and the weather was much better than in Istanbul). Definitely want to go back.

Konak area is good for tourist and close to Clock Tower and Kemeralti carsi. Kardiyaka is very good are to see , you can go eith tram or ferry. Also very interesting part is Dario Moreno street where you have very nice bars and nightlife. At the end you can rich with elevator to the top restaurant with magnificent view of the city.
Incredible location, near to lots of restaurants, bars and cafes. Not loud since it’s on a side street. Owner was very kind. The building is very old, so the room and bathroom are quite dated. Towels and linens are mismatched and used, but seemed clean. It is significantly cheaper than every other place in Izmir, so you get what you pay for. Definitely a hostel vibe rather than a hotel.
The hotel is well situated if you enjoy walking along the bay. Plenty of restaurants in the district. The staff is helpful though only limited English but enough staff that are fluent in English to make it pleasant. The restaurant is very pleasant. The breakfast area has breath taking views of the Izmir Bay and is very spacious and pleasant tried in late summer and winter.
The hotel is a small oasis in Izmir. The staff to the last person are extremely nice and kind. We are especially grateful to the reception staff, the valets and the kitchen staff.
We had all the conditions for a wonderful holiday. Thank you everyone. Regarding the breakfast, we have no complaints - a variety of well-prepared food and traditional products.
The hotel and the room is very basic, however, you get more than what you pay. For the price it’s unbelievable that there’s even breakfast included + free parking. We enjoyed the location, since it’s walking distance to the nicer parts of Izmir. The staff is nice and even though it’s not the most luxurious stay, it does the job for a very very low price.
I liked everything
The room, the bathroom
Everything was clean
The staff was very nuce, helpful and responsive
The free breakfast was very good and plenty of variety in it
The hotel price was very affordable
The city (Izmir) is very nice , but hot
Shopping, transportation and food in Izmir are cheaper than Istanbul sometimes by 50% or more
Great upmarket hotel in Izmir. The hotels and rooms are new and clean. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Staff was very attentive, especially with the valet parking. One could easily use it as a base to go around Izmir either by public transport or walking. Would recommend it for anyone having a brief stop in Izmir near the city centre.
Beautiful hotel, amazing staff and excellent location. Their breakfast buffet was fabulous with plenty of options. Darina was the sweetest and was extremely helpful during our entire stay in Izmir. We were even provided with a garden view upgrade. The toiletry they provided were really high quality. The stay did not disappoint whatsoever!!
What a GEM of a hotel.. Location is the BEST in Izmir, completely renovated in the most amazing place.. central location to walk /grab a cab anywhere.. The room itself, absolutelt beautiful/modern, well lit, and great views..world class..the ammenities outstanding, soft comfy robes and slippers. Excellent service from the staff
The hotel staff was very kind and accommodating, they were able to upgrade our room. The adjoining breakfast cafe/bar was a wonderful place to start and end our days. The hotel is very inviting and there is a nice common area to meet other travelers to Izmir. This hotel was a great home base for our stay in Izmir.
We stayed at TAV hotel overnight as we had a very early flight from Izmir airport. The location was exceptional and we were able to get some good sleep because of this.
The room was quite good, much better than I'd expected - it was a good size, very clean, quiet, and with all usual amenities provided.
First of all I loved the staff they were so friendly and helpful, they greet me and my pet with a great smile on their faces 😊 every time I enter the hotel. Location was great in the heart of izmir on the beach. Hotel is well designed
We’ll located 5 star luxury and modern hotel with spacious room full of facilities. Welcome Turkish delight. Clean and fresh. Large bed, soft pillows. Swimming pool, gym and spectacular view of sky bar. Very good parking service.
Very good location of the hotel, close to the city center and other attractions.
Great hotel quality, it is proper 5 star hotel.
