Older hotel in a quaint, cute mountain town between lakes Como and Lugano. The rooms are very basic and no-frills, but clean and the staff is friendly. Good value for the price, good breakfast with a variety of pastries, eggs, cold cuts. Very quiet, awesome view, short walk to the town square.

It was in between lake Lugano and lake Como, so everything we wanted to was in the neighbourhood. Lugano is a fantastic place to eat and rent a waterbike. Monte Crocione and San Salvatore were pretty nice mountains to hike on. The last one has also a lift and you can enjoy the view without a climb.
