Expensive yachts line the marinas here and in nearby Puerto Banús, where exotic cars outnumber sedans. It also has the best clubs, as well as designer stores and trendy seafood restaurants. Be on the look out for the celebrities that vacation here or live along the Golden Mile, home to only the most extravagant villas and Marbella hotels.
Marbella beaches stretch over 16 miles, all set against the backdrop of spectacular mountains, best viewed from a boat. It is even possible to spot a dolphin. The beaches at Puerto Banús and San Pedro Alcántara are Blue Flag beaches, while the most popular are Venus and La Fontanilla in the center of town. Artola Beach also has protected dunes.
Attractions in Marbella include 10 Dalí sculptures on Avenida del Mar, and the cobbled Old Town streets lined with colourful Andalusian-style houses. Picturesque Orange Square has sidewalk cafes under the shade of orange trees, and nearby are ruins of a Moorish castle and the 16th-century town walls.
Other pursuits include horseracing at the Hipodromo Costa del Sol, and the area’s golf courses, including one designed by national hero Seve Ballesteros.
Malaga Airport is the nearest and Booking.com has a great range of accommodations in Marbella and the surrounding villages.

The location was perfect. we had stayed in that complex previously and being right on the beach was brilliant The apartment was well-equipped and very comfortable. We ate more in the old town which was great. Getting around is easy- walking or cycling is the best answer.
The not so good news was communication. There was no information provided with the keys. We didn't get the password for the internet until halfway through the holiday. The agent didn't answer their phone and was very slow to respond. Most bizarrely it seems we still haven't paid! Despite card details on booking.com. The agent asked us to go to the office to pay and was not there. Said she would provide bank details and never did, I am sure there is an explanation but it is an experience we never have had before. We are still happy to pay!

I chose Marbella as we hadn't stayed there before, being furtherSouth the climate was warmer, it didn't disappoint! there were 2 days of (much needed) rain at the end.
We stayed very close to "Orange Square", a truly delightful area, full of small shops, eating places and history. There were many tourists visiting the area, (coach parties) which simply added to the vibe. We found the municipal market, great for fresh fish! We walked all around, there is the castle, parks, and beaches. Busses are cheap to get around. On our return we had a direct coach from the bus station (top of Marbella) to the airport for 6 Euros each!! Plenty of restaurants. Yes, a few homeless people, yes young African men selling items on street. pavements

Marbella is beautiful, romantic city, with old town in heart of it. All is covered with flowers and has flamenco feeling all over it. I will always remember it as a unique city with strong history and amazing views on Dali's sculptures and wide beautiful beaches.

We stayed in the old town great spot for a short break, we loved Marbella but wouldn't want to visit in high season. Avoid the really touristy tapas bars and restaurants on the main streets, tapas looks great but it is made in the morning and reheated in microwaves, go somewhere where it's made fresh by wandering around we found a lovely tapas bar in a small square Tasca de Santi in plaza Jose palomo, food and service was wonderful, but there are plenty of other little bars and restaurants you know they are good if they are full of the locals. The beach and promenade area was lovely too very clean and in in early November still warm enough for a swim in the sea.

Marbella is a beautiful beach town but considerably more expensive than nearby cities like Malaga as it is considered quite posh. If you are visiting Costa del Sol, it is a good idea to stop by Marbella to enjoy the beautiful old town but it is not a must to stay. A day trip is sufficient.
The hotel is so perfectly situated in ocean front location Marbella! We got upgraded for free to have a very large deck. The staff are all so kind and nice and helpful! The beds are comfortable and the restaurants nearby were fantastic! There’s a parking garage nearby where we parked our car. Old town is a 20 minute walk away and the cutest visit that was the highlight of our stay in Marbella. The little beach in front of hotel was cute. I highly recommend this hotel to anybody staying in Marbella.
The hotel staff could not have been nicer. They were so helpful and pleasant. The hotel location is just about perfect. A two-minute stroll to the old town, and a ten minute stroll to the beach. The rooms are dated, but spacious and clean with good air conditioning. Bed linen and bathroom towels are changed daily. Our room overlooked the old 9th-century castle. The breakfast was good. Great coffee. Very good value for accommodation and breakfast when you consider how pricey Marbella can be.
Hotel is located centrally, 5 mins walk from Old Town and 10 mins walk to the beach. It is definitely a convenient location.
There is a rooftop pool with amazing view of the mountains.
Hotel price for Marbella is good, considering the hotel is in a good location and Marbella is pricey place.
Shower pressure was very good.
Room had a mini fridge and a balcony.
Staff is very kind, cheerful and helpful. Front desk men and also the man who cleaned the pool. So professional and kind.
The hotel was in a very good location, close to the beach and a short walk from Puerto Banus centre. It was set in beautiful grounds with two lovely pools. We loved the fact that it had a Spanish style. The room was very spacious and comfortable, with a balcony overlooking the pool. The included breakfast provided a good choice of food. However, as with lots of Spain, there was little provision for vegetarian/vegan diets. My daughter and I had a very enjoyable stay.
Hotel is centrally located in the old town of Marbella and ideal for exploring a lovely area of the city. The Hotel was very comfortable, as was our room. The staff were extremely helpful and went out of there way to make our stay as stress free as possible, organising and booking a local restaurant which was great. Breakfast was served on the rooftop terrace and was very good, with great service. Overall a very enjoyable short stay. Would highly recommend
Location was great. Staff were super nice. Hotel was immaculate. Room was large and balcony was terrific. Just saw a bit of the beach but nice for evening drinks Walk to the beach was just a few blocks. Easy to go to pharmacy or catch a tour. Victor and reception staff helped arrange for early taxi and even opened dining room at 6 am so I could eat something. On the beach try "Rib Shack Marbell" Great smoked ribs and great staff"
The apartment it's very nice we'll located recently renovated all you might need to spend quality holidays in Marbella you will need car to move around, the location is very close to Puerto Banus, the apartment has a great terrace to relax and with views to the ínter garden and pool of the community. BREAKFAST! this one was my favorite thing about the hotel. OMG, really really good, a wide variety of food, GUACAMOLE, CHURROS like 😍😍 delicious. defined next time going to puerto banus this will be my hotel of choice. LOCATION is absolutely the best, really, like 5min walking to the port, and close to all the shops. perfect and perfect. and the hotel smell delicious, I wonder what fragrance they use
The location of this property is amazing, close to all good restaurants, close to Puerto Banus and close to El Corte Ingles which is one of the best in Spain. The parking was good and comfortable. The balcony inside the aptment is insane, the view is amazing,I would stay in this apartment once more only because of this view. The pool area was really clean and safe, the guard was there from 12 till 6 p.m.
Excellent location the apartment was in a lovely complex which had two pools , the apartment was very modern, clean, had a beautiful view overlooking the pools. it is very close to beach, restaurants and supermarket. Marbella centre and Puerto Banus are only a 10 minute taxi ride away.
Ulrika our host was nice nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely be returning.
Hotel was in a good location , within walking distance to beach and amenities. it was around 3 miles to Puerto Banus and 1.5 miles to the old town of Marbella, with lots of bars and restaurants much closer.
Staff were very friendly and welcoming.
The room was a good size with nice toiletries and an amazing bed size!
Nice breakfast.
Absolutely fantastic stay .
Beautiful new hotel .
Great large room and balcony
Great breakfast and service.
Great staff and care
Great location near beach and restaurants.
Bus available to central Marbella
Puerto banus better in the day however and it's an easy walk to shops and beach bars .
Beautiful bar area and pool .
the location is great, after crossing the (main road) you walk down to the paseo marítimo and can either walk into Marbella or Puerto Banus. I don’t know if bikes are available to rent at the hotel. Very clean well equipped rooms a lovely restaurant, excellent breakfast and a wonderful, helpful staff.
- The location is great right in Marbella old town, close to restaurants and shops.
- The hotel decoration is great, lots of small details in the room that make it cozy
- The rooftop terrace is a nice little place to get a late drink and watch the buzz in the old town from above
Beautiful hotel. Location is great, just a short stroll into the old town of Marbella. Food was lovely. The restaurant/bar at the beach is great, and the food is really good. Staff are extremely helpful. Couldn't fault the hotel. We will be back next year!
Excellent location on the best part of the Marbella beach. Beautiful “ Mediterranean village style” architecture set in a pretty tropical mature garden. Lots of very good restaurants. Spacious rooms. Efficient, polite staff.
The location is great, right behind the golden mile of Marbella and 1KM from Marbella town or 4KM to Puerto Banus walking (or running). the house is big enough for a family of 6.
BBQ on the rooftop is the best for dinner.
