Great apartment on the top floor; only stayed one night but would be a great place for longer stay; walking distance from coffee shops and restaurants.

Monchique Springs is a small village a few minute drive from Monchique town. It's much nicer than the town, which seems quite neglected. In contrast Monchique Spa is green, beautiful, well kept and much more interesting with an air of a spa in Switzerland, or England. A must to see!

A beautiful Roman Spa town set high in the hills above the Algarve; the hotel we stayed in was part of the spa which has been bought by an ambitious hotelier who has yet to improve all the buildings to a satisfactory standard. The signage at the hotel is woeful we spent the first two hours of our visit completely lost. If the entrance to the guest parking is down the side of a factory which it is, tell people rather than leave them driving around confused

Monchique is a pretty little town in the mountains, with quiet cobbled streets, boutique shops and wonderful cafes. The new Velochique Cafe is amazing. The area is dotted with incredible trails for walking and cycling and is a great place to stay for a quiet night but still close enough to the Algarve to visit during the day. Silves is a wonderful nearby historic town with an 11th century fort and more wonderful shops and restaurants. Monchique has a good mid sized supermarket that caters for all your needs too. And there are some good local restuarants.

Everyone was friendly and helpful.
Everyone was friendly and helpful. Monchique was lovely and there is a good supermarket for self caterers. Had the best food at Vintage in the centre. Foia just up the hill was perfect for views. Brilliant stop for the race track at Portimao.

Monchique in august is a quiet, little, hilly town, a good start location for visiting activities in the surroundings: hiking, karting, kayakking (Lagos), visiting castles and so on. The houses are either nicely painted infresh colors or the y are in a bad shape and locked. In the town and also around it, are multiple trails to walk/hike.
Casa Mia was a cosy place from which to explore beautiful Monchique.
The kitchen was nice to cook in and the house was perfect for three.
The shower and bathroom were perfect for us, yes it's a small room but that didn't bother us at all. parking and driving was challenging once you get into the town, tight turns etc, but video directions provided helps a lot - highly recommend watching video as you drive! Solves all problems! Dont follow google maps :) it was so nice to be in a house inside the atmospheric town and worth the drive!
Me and my boyfriend absolutely enjoyed our stay in this beautiful Appartement surrounded by the calm nature. Also Antonio and Daniel were so welcoming and nice! The breakfast was a blast, we could enjoy freshly homemade yogurt and fruits from the garden and much more local treats. We also made a hike in Monchique and enjoyed the mountains and Caldas de Monchique. All in all it was a blast!
The guesthouse is a perfect place to relax and disconnect as it is remote in the mountains. But within a short drive you can discover the city of Monchique. A lot of outside areas to relax, nice pool area with beautiful view. Daniela and João are lovely hosts, always ready to help. Would love to come back here for another stay.
The hotel is owned / managed by people who care about their guests and you feel it as soon as you arrive and throughout your stay. It’s location right next to the Thermal Hotel where you can enjoy great spa facilities feels like being part of a very charming 19th cent-like spa resort.
A beautiful view, friendly staff, nice breakfast, comfortable beds, two bathrooms in one suite. There was a well- equipped kitchenette. There's a bus stop next to the hotel but you will need to walk uphill for quite a bit to reach the reception
We had a very pleasant stay..
This hotel is pure magic, gorgeous property with views forever !! flowers, gardens, koi, special places to read, lovely details, near hiking, a hearty walk to town for incredible meals, Monchique is a wonderful destination and this hotel will make your time happy and healthy
I work in tourism for almost 40 years. A hotel usually is for sleeping and eating. Here it’s to meet the most beautiful people that own and administrate the place. When people have big heart the place can’t be bad. It’s a wonderful place with wonderful people.
The location felt remote but it was so accessible to town and many hiking destinations. The hotel and farm were restorative for the soul. The tiny details really made it special - from fresh flowers to toys for our son to play with - we appreciated it all.
The room was clean and comfortable. Fernanda went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Monchique. There are some nice, local restaurants around and it’s a great location for hikes.
Location is exceptional, quiet, great view with close acces to Monchique
The studio was very thoughtfuly arranged
Gorgeous garden to relax.
Laura and Jorge were incredibly nice and helpful, they really made our trip a special moment.
The location of this dreamlike B&B is wonderful. Tucked away in the quiet valley of Monchique, it is a complete change of scenery after coming from the coast. Katinka is a wonderful host and provided a delicious home made breakfast.
A lovely decorated house on a hill looking down on Caldas de Monchique. Lots of nooks and crannies in the chalet itself- including a stone basement with a fine pool table. Overall, a very enjoyable stay in Monchique at this Chalet.
Public free parking in the vicinity of the hotel.
Friendly staff.
Helpful receptionists.
Nice breakfast.
Clean rooms.
Quiet location.
Average size outdoor pool.
Kids pool.
Dinner buffet (traditional Portuguese) with live music.
The hotel is located in the thermal area of Monchique, a very quiet area with several hotels. The room was bright and very quiet (the bar and restaurant close at 10 p.m.). The breakfast is really plentiful and very assorted.
