Campo Di Carlo is a charming bed and breakfast offering comfortable accommodations in an ancient stone farmhouse, surrounded by the centuries-old woods of Val di Cecina and Val di Cornia.

Cristina was lovely hostess and the garden/pool is beautiful. Breakfast was plentiful and nice (although with extra charge). The venue is situated in a quiet place and you could have a nice relaxing holiday.

The location in the nature with a lake is very good. Also, the room size was big enough and the breakfast was decent

The property is very close to the center. 5 min walk. It is also right on the beach, so it’s wonderful. The staff is super nice and always smile.
The Hotel (maybe) needs some little renovations. It feels like it stopped time in the 80’s. The bathroom is very small, as well as the room (we didn’t book the cheapest one). The elevator would need some renovations as well as the rooms/hallways/terrace, but overall it is a nice stay at a fair price to be an hotel on the beach. The outside space is really nice.
I think it is family owned and all the owners we met were very nice.
I recommend for short stays.

Be aware the route to reach the property is a dirt road: this is the way to reach the true and the beautiful loneliness of Tenuta Seripa

Small and cozy little village, endowed with all possible necessities, from little markets to hospitals. The numerous sculptures (proud feature of Sassetta's streets) perfectly mix up with the Medieval outlook of the city.
Although the property was dry due to the drought it was stunning. The breakfast was in on the patio overlooking the beautiful countryside. Our room didn't have air-conditioning but this wasn't an issue as the screened windows at the back of our room ensured we had cool air flowing through the room all night. The hotel has a restaurant or you can drive 5 minutes up the road to Sassetta and dine at one of the restaurants there.
We highly recommend this property.
The host Cristina is very kind and helpful. The room was charming and cosy at the same time and the place has a gorgeous landscape view. The breakfast was delicious (the cheesecake to die for), if you are vegan just tell her in advance and she'll have special plant base options for you.
We went to the thermal spa next to it the next day and you can ask for a discount if you stay at Cristina's.
I surely recommend this place and I'll come back!
Nice location in rural setting - perfect spot for your holiday, if looking for a quiet hideaway. Restaurant is good with very friendly staff, though lacking professionalism - especially when considering the prices on the higher side. Nice pool - we had a room with "private garden" and pool view. Matrasses were good. Sink was clogged upon arrival but was quickly fixed. Breakfast buffet very good for Italian hotel
Sassetta is not a location you chose randomly. You go there for a reason: for a friends get together, a wedding nearby or the likes. The flat is small, on top of a cliff, in a row of similar units. On the back there is a pool, in the front a numbered car place. Walking distance to the village. Very sketchy connection in the area. If you plan to work in the spare time, get ready to get frustrated.
Lovely house, quiet and a really big space. Unfortunately the property was in the shade permanently which may well be a bonus in the summer but we stayed in October so it was chilly and damp.
Nice place to stay apart from that.
And you have to drive everywhere so be prepared for that.
Spa has sauna and steam, as well as pools which is great, breakfast and dinner were just OK, but lunch menu, food and service was brilliant. Treatments are great but pricey. Tea and yohurt in the spa. Rooms have no wifi, TV or aircon/heating, and bath products in sachets.
Our stay at Pian Delle more was absolutely heavenly.. from the magnificence of the Tuscan hillsides to the birdsong all day long, the swifts swooping down to drink from the wonderful swimming pool and the much appreciated quiet.. I would definitely come back..
Incredible location, very peaceful, deep in the nature with an amazing thermal spa next door and the picturesque town of Sassetta 5 minutes away. Great base to explore the coastal area, would go back again in a heartbeat.
Very beautiful location, with a lot of nature. A beautiful room, with a lot of space and a gorcious view. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Would go there another time!
