Paolo and his wife offer a wonderful accomondation in a wonderful estate. The house is surrounded by a garden full of sardinian plants and with a garden pavillon, at which we were served an italian coffee every morning with some self-baked italian biscuits. The flat was spacey, with a bed room, a hallway and another room to sit and a bathroom. everything was very clean and in good shape. There was a fridge in the flat.
Paolo and his wife were especially kind to us. On the first morning, Paolo showed us the three most beautiful bays and beaches close by - the best advice we had for the region - the spots were marvellous and not known to mass tourism. We spend a lot of time snorkeling and swimming in those places. Next to showing us the beautiful nature spots around the location, paolo and his wife invited us into their house for an hour in the last night to try their self-brewed (and very well done and delicious) Myrthe-Liquor.
Additionally, Paolo has a rudimentary kitchen outside the house in a small cabin on the estate which we could use.
All in all it was our most pleasant stay in Sardinia. It was this place where we most connected to the local way of life and people. We can most warmly recommend everyone to book accomondation for a few days at paolos place.

Location is really great if you like a quiet small town atmosphere.
Francesca is really nice, even though she wasn't able to welcome us personally, she gave clear instructions on how to park and get into the apartment.
The bed is super comfy, we had some great sleep in it:)
*extra point: there is a basketball court about a 100m from the property so if you like to go out for some shooting practice like myself, you'll find this really awesome:)

I stayed two nights by myself with a day excursion planned in Stintino.
Argentiera is a quiet, off the main road spot. RB5 is on a southern ridge overlooking the old mining town. My was room was clean, comfortable , and decorations were very cute. The rooms are small, but the outdoor patios are plentiful and well appointed with seating and loungers. Very small lodging house - I think that there were only five or six rooms available. Breakfast was beautiful and delicious. It is an individual affair with table service. The highlight of the location is the amazing view of the coastline from the patios.
If you want any special drinks/ snacks, be sure to get them before you arrive to Argentiera. There is only one restaurant and one beach bar for services locally.

The place itself it is not spectacular, but surroundings like the beaches and the nature around was amazing. We went to see Neptune's cave (1h ride), Asinara national park (30 min to Stintino then we took a sailing excursion from there), Stintino and La Pelosa beach (30 min ride) and Alghero (about 1h ride). Also we were exploring lonely beaches and bays in frot of Palmadula area. We had an amazing vacation.
