The buildings and architecture reflect the age of the buildings, but the buildings have been well maintained. The people are friendly, helpful and will assist the visitor in way they can. The prices are moderate and so shopping and dining are first rate.

We enjoyed the charming city sights and the hike up the "Muur van Geraardsbergen" where we saw a panoramic view of the region. You can rent bicycles at the Gavers for a very fair price. Though we were there only four nights, this property would be suitable as a long stay accommodation with great train access to Brussels or Gent. Try Bistro André too, the food was fantastic!CraigerockBelgium

It had its own parking space and private entrance. Inside it had a large lounge/dining area, kitchenette and large double bedroom. The bathroom had a fantastic walk in shower. The location is in a quiet residential street outside of Geraardsbergen. You can walk into the town centre along the river.

The hotel is very nice and quiet, the room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast is excellent, with lots of variety and choices, one of the best I've ever had, I highly recommend it!
