I am an insulin dependent diabetic. I forgot my insulin in the refrigerator in my room. The maid saw the insulin, realized its importance to me, and notified the front desk. The woman at the front desk telephoned us immediately. We had driven half way to Bangkok and were unable to return to retrieve my medicine. The woman at the front desk mailed the insulin to our destination hotel. I believe she paid the postage herself. That’s excellent service.

Ayutthaya was an amazing experience - after visiting Thailand hundreds of times over 40 years - I finally made it there. It was tranquil, beautiful, romantic and incredibly interesting. Easy to get to from Bangkok by train - well worth considering!

We spent an evening and a morning here.
We spent an evening and a morning here. We arrived mid-pm direct from DMK Bangkok airport by train which took less than an hour and cost less than a pound. We went to a temple for sunset, visited a busy night market and had dinner by the river. Next am we drove around in a tuk tuk for 3 hours and visited nearly all the temples. Hot work but totally rewarding. I guess with more time we'd have done the museum as well although there's a lot of Ayutthaya to see in the National Museum in Bangkok.

Love his tory and ruins, then you will love this place.
Love his tory and ruins, then you will love this place. You can even dress up and get photo in traditional dress, or kick back in a local bar along one of the canals or go to the little floating market or the night market. Fun place, but lots of walking. Good value for money paid.

Great stay.
Great stay. We needed a few extra days to get around due to an elderly traveller however would recommend 2-3 days here, and a mix of night time and day visits to the temples. This is true old school Thailand, friendly, laidback and local pricing away from awful advantages tourism (sex, drugs, fire twirling)

The historical sites are interesting, and there are a variety of ways to see them. Tuk Tuks are plentiful and most drivers speak some English. If you want to hire a tuk tuk driver to take you to see various sites, the rates is 300 baht per hour. You can also visit l the sites individually and get a tuk tuk for about 100 baht. There is also the option of walking. Several sites are in close proximity and are easily walked or bikes can be rented, if you prefer. There is also a nice boat roar that will take you to various sites along the river for 200 baht per person. The boat trip lasts for a couple of hours.

The lady who manages the place is incredibly friendly with great recommendations. The service absolutely reflects the warm hospitality Thai people are known for. Even after checking out she offered to keep our bags and allow us to shower before grabbing the night train. The location is walking distance from many temples and the night market. The hotel is a charming traditional Thai building and very clean and well maintained (even by North American standards). Excellent overall and excellent value.
Good value and very nice host. We were only able to stay for a night but had a great time searching temples and enjoyed the accommodation when on the property.
The property is a longer walk away from restaurants in the area if you have trouble getting around. Unfortunately my bike I rented ended up getting a flat tire. this was no problem as the hotel owner was very nice and did not charge me for the inconvenience, but with the distance we were from the property it was an issue getting back.
The owner was really nice and helped wherever needed (even could borrow his phone to make an important call). Also they had softer beds, than what we encountered in most of Thailand yet, really recommendable matresses. It is possible to borrow bikes for free to explore the temple ruins that are close to the hotel - actually it is perfectly situated for exploring Ayutthaya by bike. Good shower!!
fantastic property on the river with a beautiful garden. The room was very comfortable and the heritage vibe suits the location well. We took a private boat trip from the hotel jetty around the area and back without having to even leave the property garden..
In the morning, we crossed the road and walked around the historic ruins - location is perfect.
The hotel offers a good breakfast with various foods, which they change daily (at least for my two-night stay). You can also use a washing machine to wash your clothes while staying there, but you need to bring your washing liquid (front-loading machine), which is obtainable from the closest Lotus Store.

All in all one of the best stays I had in Thailand! Thank you again ❤️
Comfiest beds so far in Thailand. Bike hire on site made visiting far-flung temples easy. Close enough to walk to the closest wats. Vegetarian food available at restaurants of Malakor and Heritage Indian. Would definitely use again. Walkable from the train station.
This was by far our favourite place to stay in Thailand! A really beautiful room, spacious and exceptionally clean. Excellent quality of linen and comfortable bed. We loved it so much that we changed our plans and stayed and extra night.
The owner is so nice and helps you with everything. He suggests good spots to visit and likes to have a chat in the evening. Can recommend this place. Will also visit it again in my next visit in Thailand.
The spacious room with super clean and smell so nice! Bed was comfy and cozy. Staffs were really nice and helpful. It has coffee cafe owned by the hotel owner which is very tasty and competitive price.
The hotel is a wonderful wooden building… a really eclectic mixture of amusing ornaments. Breakfast was very nice too.
The room was beautiful and the staff were warm and welcoming.
The staff was very friendly. The room was comfortable and rather larger. The location good - around 10 minutes to the main temples on bicycle (which the hotel offers for free).
I like the decoration in the room and around the hotel. The garden and landscape is so beautiful. The bed is comfortable. The river view and the temple across the river.
The staff was very very friendly, everything was made with love. It is very clean and comfortable, the location was great. One of the best places I stayed in Thailand!
