I particularly loved Stari Bar, the Old Town and the Fortress.
Some neat was amazing.
Travelled in May, so off peak. I would not enjoy in peak as there would be too many people for my likes. Lots of places to eat on waterfront.

Quiet town with amazing seaside bulevard, usually full with people but not that crowded.
Bar's location is optimal along the adriatic coast of Montenegro, which makes it an ideal town to stay for those who are planning to roam around other coast destinations, bith north and south alike.

The location is very good.
The location is very good. Sea is 800 m away, central square 400 m, bus station 300 m, railway station 400 m. The apartment was clean and tidy with everything you need, comfortable bed and mattress, air conditioner. The hosts offer free beach umbrellas and blankets for sleeping on the beach. The apartment has internet, there is a smart box with which you can connect your smart devices to the big TV screen.
Unfortunately, the hosts have also had negative experiences , so a security deposit was required before arrival, which was then returned to us.

Bar is an interesting city, not only a touristic, but also a harbour one. You can meet some exotic people here, and some exotic wares at shops' shelves. Most of the city is composed of private houses, therefore it sprawls quite wide, 10+ km along the coast line. But it is long and thin, so to say, and you can always reach sea quickly.

We had the opportunity to visit few cicties on the seaside like Sutomore, Budva or Ulcinj but Bar seems to be quite calm and not crowded place. Additional Bar has it's railway connection with capitol city and aeroport what gives a better possibility to arrive there.

Bar is second largest town in Crna Gora.
Bar is second largest town in Crna Gora. With opportunity for major
redevelopment over recent decades, the centre has been well planned
with an eye to "green" environment. The same may not be said of the
suburbs where there is pressure to intensify building.
The railway and bus stations are on the edge of town - the railway
forming a boundary crossed by bridges to the suburbs beyond. The
docks and port are well separated from the town centre. Some local
public transport exists but seems fairly sparse - fares are cheap.
This is a human-scale town for which a mental map could be easily
developed within a few days.
We stayed for two comfortable nights. The hotel facilities are nice, including the indoor and outdoor pools, its own beach with free sunbeds, and the gym. Our room was clean and comfortable (but the need for a thorough refurbishment across the whole property stands out). The breakfast had a fair variety, as one can be used to in a bigger hotel. Services were according to standard (4*), but the whole resort is kind of archaic. Its price point however, is more than fair.
Set in the picturesque Old Town of Bar, this excellent hotel boasts a magnificent location and breathtaking views. The spacious, immaculate rooms offer everything you require for a comfortable stay. The remarkable architecture and meticulous attention to detail are truly impressive.
Indulge in an excellent breakfast spread, offering a wide array of choices. Moreover, the restaurant serves outstanding dishes crafted with quality, fresh ingredients.
A brand new hostel run by an amazing guy with a very positive vibe and always available for his guests.
The bathroom is AMAZING. it looks like the bathroom you can find in a 4-star hotel. I am NOT joking.
By the way the hostel is nearby the train station that can takes you to the Skadar lake ' s entrance for a very very low fare.
Guys don't hesitate go there. you won't find a better deal in Bar/Montenegro
Amazing place - worth every penny! There are no enough stars to rate this apartment. Hosts are great, the place is more than fully equipped and makes your stay more relaxed. Welcome fruit and wine basket, large terrace ..everything was fantastic ... if you want to enjoy Montenegro, this is a perfect place, in the middle of the Montenegrin Adriatic coast. Just keep the great work guys and thank you!
The location and scenery were wonderful. There is a beautiful beach directly in front of the property that the terrace overlooks. All of the amenities are updated and the apartment is very clean. The owners and neighbors were very kind and helpful. The rates were excellent. I would stay here if you are looking in Sutomore or Bar.
This is the best option in terms of price/quality ratio. Very kind and friendly hosts. The apartment was clean. and had everything I needed to live. Nearby are small stores, and in 5-10 minutes a large store. Just next to the railway station and bus stop from which you can go in different directions in Montenegro.
I have been few times in Montenegro and definitely this place is best for rest. Unique apartments style, breathtaking views from rooms, pool and private beach. What’s more, the restaurant is vegetarian and vegan friendly! Each person from Dollaku Apart-Hotel was so friendly for us, we are much more than satisfied.
The breakfast was great. Due to lack of customers instead of a standard buffet they have allowed us to pick anything from the menu for free. Eggs Benedict were delicious.
Villa is located just a few minutes of walk to the Old Bar citadel on a street with lots of shops and cafeterias.
Positioned on a quiet hill in Bar, offered easy parking spots in front of the apartment and a nice view over the city and sea. The host was helpful and communication with him was always easy.
It was the only apartment in Montenegro where we could find hooks to hang the towels 😂👍
Actually this is just a restaurant with rooms for rent on the 1st floor, not a hotel per se. There are very few hotels in Bar whatsoever.
Very good location, right on the sea side.
Excellent breakfast.
Good restaurant.
Pleasant and friendly staff.
Clean.
We really liked the staff, the reception lady was very kind and offered us breakfast and even gave us free snacks. She also provided some guidance for tours around Bar. Other than that, the room is nice and clean. They had gluten-free/vegan options.
Everything. We got what we booked. The hosts were amazing, super kind and were ready to help everytime. The terrace with the breathtaking view. The size of the room. The kitchenette. We will definitely come back when we visit Montenegro again.
It was the best reservation that we had in Montenegro. Room was spacious and cozy, we had extra bed and facilities was fresh.
There are great nude beaches in 10 mins by walk. Host was extremely helpful and friendly.
Everything was perfect. Stunning view, good location, friendly neighborhood, with car you are in city center in a minute. If you want dream apartment with nice view on the harbor, City and sea, this is the one.
location was excellent and all nearby, no need to search for other rooms in Montenegro Bar. Parking ,,garden, kitchen equipment's etc excellent ,owner was very kind and lovely person .thanks a lot
The location of the hotel is perfect, exactly in the middle of Stari Bar. The breakfast is good, but they should, in my opinion, serve it on the outside restaurant instead of in the inside one.
