Idyllic! After two weeks of travel in Umbria and Tuscany, this was such a pleasant way to end my trip before heading back to Rome. The room was splendid …large, airy, clean, and comfy with modern bathroom. The hotel location within the village and the proximity to other towns was perfect. It is small guesthouse, with a great wine shop and a restaurant I will remember for some time. Everyone is super friendly. Clean & comfortable hotel in the center of Cecina, very close to the train station, shops, and restaurants. There's a bus every half hour or so to the beaches at Marina di Cecina. Or, it's a nice 30 minute walk under large, shady, pine trees. Even in the summer heat, it's an easy walk - and worth it cause the beach area is great! Also just 20 minute drive to Bolgheri and all the amazing vineyards. Check out Castagneto Carducci - a beautiful medieval town, close by. Good breakfast, nice staff, and the air conditioning in the room works well! Also plenty of free parking near the hotel, even during peak summer season.
