The property is located in the center of town however the parking situation is a bit of an hassle. You have to park @ the port and walk about 7 minutes to get to the property it will cost 10 euro to park the car overnight. It will also take you some time to find a spot in the high season.

Nice compact town with lots of history and great sea views.
Nice compact town with lots of history and great sea views. Working harbour with a variety of boats and yachts in moorings.
Has been taken over a bit too much by continuous seaside souvenir shops making it a bit tacky in places. Plenty of decent restaurants with an abundance of seafood.

A truly beautiful town, we wish we stayed longer. We would highly recommend hiring a car so you can drive around to visit all of the small beaches and beach clubs. It's a beautiful town to explore.

A lively and picturesque old town with an excellent offer.
A lively and picturesque old town with an excellent offer. The pulse of the city can only be felt if you stay in the old town on the island. You can be prepared for remote parking, impossible staircases in buildings... but everything you need on vacation is within walking distance.

We liked town and surrounding.
We liked town and surrounding. Beautiful fish restaurants everywhere. Since we rented the car had the options to explore the other towns nearby. Galippoli was our base and from then we visited historical small town Nardo. The very good option to start your trip in Apulia😊

Gallipoli is a fantastic small town. the old town is separated from the other part of the town by a bridge .Located on top of a rock the old town with the small castle make a very picturesque place where to take pictures from any corners. surrounded by turquoise colour water. In October the water's temperature is still warm for you to enjoy as well as to get a suntan. Lots of restaurants one better than another , offering fantastic panoramic view when sitting outside . The best way to get around gallipoli is on foot , cycling or a moped . In my opinion the best time to visit Gallipoli and surrounding is September ,october ,June and July . particularly good is October ,still warm ,good weather but very peaceful .

Everything was perfect, right from the initial contact with Vito. The room was fresh, clean and beautifully styled. Loved the terrace where breakfast was served and of course Christina was very special and a wonderful hostess who went that extra mile to look after us.
We were on a road trip of Southern Italy and wanted to spend some time in a City and chose Gallipoli. Palazzo Perla was ideal for us, based in the heart of the City within easy walking distance of a main shopping street and a short walk to the Centro Historico which is lovely, the location was perfect with free on street parking. The accommodation was beautiful, comfortable, stylish, clean, everything you could want. Ilenia the hostess was charming, professional and very helpful as were the other team members. A really enjoyable stay!
The place is brand new, spotless clean. There's complimentary coffee vending machine in the hallway and they give you croissants several times a day. Angelo was amazing host - waited for us for late arrival, gave us his parking spot in front of the building, provided recommendations for Gallipoli. Room is a good size equipped with good AC. Location is good - half a block off the main street with shops which leads you into the old town. Totally recommend this place.
Mattia, who took care of everything ,was very polite, and helpful, took our lagguage into his car and took it to the hotel, because the hotel is in the area where the traffic is limited. The location of the hotel is in the center of the old town of Gallipoli. The room is very big and spacious, the furniture is very beatiful. The posibitity of using a huge terrace on the top of the house, due to bad weather couldn't enjoy it. The breakfast was rich and delicious.
The most fabulous view of the harbour from the spacious apartment. The hosts were wonderful & breakfast was delicious. I loved waking up & seeing the fisherman tending their nets & the harbour is beautiful. You can walk easily around the whole of the old town & we found some amazing little restaurants hidden in the back streets. Gallipoli was my favourite place in Puglia & I would definitely stay at Palazzo Barba again.
The service was good, the girl Anastasia on reception was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was tipical italian, but they make also if you want other stuff for breakfast...something that you usually don't get im South Italy. The romm was really big and everything new and modern.
If you don't want to feel like you got in '80...then sure is that the right hotel.
The beach is also near from hotel.
The architecture of the villa is truly impressive, adding to the charm of the entire experience. The staff were exceptionally kind and attentive, making me feel right at home. The highlight of the mornings was the delicious breakfast featuring fresh pastries that were an absolute delight. I highly recommend Villa Carola for a memorable stay in Gallipoli.
Loved my stay at Cortine Moline, the location was perfect not far from the beach and deliciousness found in Gallipoli’s old town. The place was super clean and decorated tastefully. My room and terrace were spacious and the bed was very comfortable. A delicious breakfast with sea views made each day more wonderful. The staff was attentive and welcoming.
the hotel is very nice and clean. decoration is modern and very at a walkable distance to the city centre of Gallipoli. the staff is extremely kind and attentive to detail. we spent New Year’s Eve there and service was exceptional, the food was great (thank you to the Chef) and the staff always promptly available. couldn’t be happier with the choice
we had an amazing experience from beginning to end. it was raining when we arrived and Fernando picked us up from the parking lot to help with luggage. amazing history of the home and family. we loved our stay and would recommend to anyone who wishes to stay in the literal heart of Gallipoli with great people.
This is a small but beautiful hotel that is well-located within quick walking distance of both the old town and the newer parts of town. The rooms are spacious and lovely and the breakfast is excellent! The staff are super friendly and very helpful too!
Beautiful property on the outskirts of Gallipoli. The owner, Marcello, was so great. Accommodating, cheerful, incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was modern, cozy w/ comfortable bed and great shower/bathroom. Would definitely recommend! 10/10.
Location - perfect
Parking available right 150 meter from the hotel
The hotel is very nice inside
Room was nice
We had a room with a window to the sea, but unfortunately due to wind - it had to be closed most of the time

Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast really tasty. The facility belongs to the nearby hotel but it was ok. The room was nice and clean within the oldtown building with beautiful courtyard
The staff at checkin at the ?XIHotel were really helpful. As we gad bikes they were very obliging and allowed us to leave them in the courtyard until earl evening the day we checked out
The location was ideal with a lovely view, the room
