This stone house was beautifully restored and modernized with large, comfortable rooms in an adorable village. Within walking distance is an ancient Roman road, the village fountain with a lovely mural, an amazing pousada created from a convent and wonderful overlooks. We swam in 2 of the nearby river beaches. The kitchen was simple but had everything we needed for a quick breakfast and one dinner that we cooked.
