138 Marine Beachfront Guesthouse has won the Top Destination Award for the BEST FOUR STAR GUESTHOUSE in SOUTH AFRICA in 2015. It is an elegant guesthouse with spectacular sea front views. It is one of the few guesthouses in the Cape Whale Coat area, which is situated right at the beachfront - any closer and you'd have a whale in your bath! No attention to detail has been spared in the superbly stylish decor. The six luxurious designer suites are individually fitted with all modern comforts, meeting international standards: king or queen-sized beds decked in 400-thread count Percale linen, under-floor heating, his and hers basins, heated towel rails, satellite TV, and free wireless internet access. The extensive breakfast menu changes daily. Relax with a glass of estate wine on the deck next to the beach, and enjoy magnificent views of breaking waves and spectacular African sunsets over the ocean, or watch the whales from the comfort of your bed. The magical experience of the sunsets over the Atlantic Ocean, very special place to be, whatever the weather!

The Guesthouse is only a couple of minutes from the Hermanus town centre, at the gateway of the Hermanus Wine Route and close to two golf courses. Spend lazy, sun-filled afternoons on the beach in front of the Guesthouse with panoramic views of the ocean and the mountains. Enjoy magnificent views of breaking waves and spectacular African sunsets over the ocean. Swim at the beach or boulder hop until you find a lovely sunny spot to take in the 360° views of the sea, mountains and coastline, relaxing with sun downers in hand.
