On the plus side, the beach wasn't crowded and didn't have anyone hassling you to buy food etc. There were lots of good restaurants on the beach, and the village had a few shops and a 24-hour convenience store. Unfortunately, the beach wasn't particularly clean, and it seamed that nobody actually cleaned it anyway. Also, there were a few too many stray dogs in the mornings. Nevertheless, I love the place as it's very natural and relaxing, and you can easily walk from the airport with hand luggage if you're only staying a few days.David - 2.0Scored 2.0

Nai Yang beach is a gorgeous stretch of soft sand and blue sea, relatively quiet in contrast to the rest of Phuket and so close to the airport without the planes being a bother. There are some beachside restaurants with delicious food and great service and a few shops and stalls in the streets behind. This place has the most comfortable beds in phuket. The lady on reception, I think she is known as katrina, is most helpful and works really hard. The site also has its own restaurant opposite, which does some lovely dishes.Rooms have a balcony, so you can sit and watch the planes coming in and leaving.
