Monseñor, completed in 1992, is now a residential community of individual home owners from a variety of European countries some of which rent out apartments directly with no affiliation to any tour operator. Playa del Cura offers quiet cove with 2 beaches and is a quieter location from which to enjoy the amenities of Puerto Rico, just 4 km from the resort. It has a very relaxed atmosphere and lack of nightclubs, and is perfect for those seeking a quiet holiday.

200 m walk down to the black sand beach of Playa del Cura which in turn connects to Playa Tauro with its yellow sand and 2 beach bars. You could continue walking and reach the white sands of Amadores or use the bus and reach it within 3 stops. This protected bay has calm turquoise swimming waters, good choice of watersports and plenty of restaurants and bars. Just 1,5 km from the resort you will find the Anfi Tauro Golf Club, beautifully located in the lush Tauro Valley and encircled by mountains. The club is set around landscaped gardens and lakes and boasts an 18 hole championship golf course designed by renowned golf course designers Von Hagge, Smelek and Baril, a 9 hole par 3 course, chipping and putting greens, practice bunkers, a driving range, a pro-golf shop and a golf academy. Puerto Rico is less than 10 mins away by Taxi or local bus. You can find scuba diving, paragliding, jet skis and lots of other water activities here. The harbour at Puerto Mogan is approx 10km away and from here you can take a dolphin-spotting cruise or go go game fishing.
