Israel’s tiny speck of Red Sea is squeezed between Eqypt (Taba) on one side and Jordan (Aqaba) on the other side. Eilat is a resort city for glamorous people lying on the beach and scuba divers under the sea who come together for superb sunsets and long, warm summer nights.
Many tourists use this 7 km stretch of land as a passage to the Sinai Peninsula in Egypt or onwards to Petra in Jordan. However, if you stay, this glitzy destination provides relaxation all year round at its numerous luxury hotels and beaches. Coral Beach is the dive centre headquarters with its spectacular coral reefs.
The Tayelet promenade is a place to stroll and search for the perfect restaurant or boutique shop. The southern part of the magnificent Negev Desert can be accessed from Eilat by 4WD tours or bus. This Bedouin territory includes the Great Rift Valley and the Eilat Mountains Nature Reserve.
The sparkling Gulf of Aqaba provides the perfect backdrop for local Israelis and international tourists to party into the wee hours. Festivals such as Red Sea Jazz and Red City during summer help to fuel the busy beach activities.
There are many seaside resorts and chain hotels on Booking.com. Backpackers and families are also provided with ample choices.
Eilat is an amazing place to be in, there is always...
Eilat is an amazing place to be in, there is always something to do, there are tourists visiting from all around the world all the time and the weather is sunny and breeze.
My advice to anyone visiting Eilat is not to spend all the time in the city but to book a trip to the nearby Timna National Park which aside of being a Geological Gem, houses the biblical Mines of King Solomon.
another great place to visit is Kibbutz Yotvata's Rehabilitation Safari where the National parks authority rehabilitates different endangered species native to Historical/Biblical Israel and re-interduces them back to the wild.
aside of that there's Kibbutz Neot Smadar which is home to one of Israel's largest Artist communities and of course, for Adrenaline junkies you can take a buggy/RZAR ride through the desert with a guide, or just go paragliding out in the sea
the choices never end in Eilat, and if there's one thing certain, is that you will want to come back again.

Very nice beach promenade, good for strolling around after dinner. Plenty of very nice hotels and restaurants around. There are a lot of trees and flowers in the city, one of these is the terminal park which is very close to the mall. The underwater observatory is a must-visit. We were blown away by it. You can see the mountains of four different countries from its rooftop. Spending a whole day there is recommended. The botanical garden is also pretty good, can be covered in an hour and a half with lots of nice photo opportunities. There are snorkeling etc. water activities, and a bird-watching park as well, but we did not get to visit those due to time constraints.

Eilat is growing exponentially.
Eilat is growing exponentially. It is located by the Red Sea, with Petra and the Jordan mountains next door. The mountains go from beige to purple and pink at sunset, a stunning view. The sea is warm and full of fish. People like the water sports there, though I like to lie by the pool. The weather is warm most of the year.

Tacky place, full of shops and attractions in bad taste.
Tacky place, full of shops and attractions in bad taste. Despite no VAT prices are high and the assortment in the shops is provincial. For decent beaches go South of Coral Beach or preferably to Taba Heights in Egypt.

Fun fun fun!
Fun fun fun!
Israel's Las Vegas, without the gambling, but with coral reefs.
Something for the whole family.
The weather is (almost) always great (except in the heat of summer). Otherwise go indoors or into the water.
Big hotel, you can find all what you need but the facilities are old and require refurbishment.
Location is semi-ok. Close to the shopping and eating places.
Very plentyful breakfest - I did not book it included and it was my mistake.
Free parking - really convenient. If you have car this will be easy to acces and leave the hotel. Many attractions arround Eilat are in driving distance.
I've booked this hotel shortly before planned trip and price was attractive as for Israel
Hotel amenities are just great. Rooms are very comfortable. If traveling with babies, they provide baby crib and food utensils. Also baby chairs are available at the dining room.
The food is amazing, if you are not from Israel you can get a great sense of their culture.
For coffee lovers, coffee from the barista is excellent.
The kids staff is very friendly. We met a Spanish speaking girl, Bar, who really made a difference for.my daughter. She is amazing!
The staff was helpful, accommodating, smiling and great overall.
rooms were clean and new.
As opposed to the larger and supposedly more fancy hotels in Eilat that I have stayed in the past, and where everything fell apart (door handles, paint, overcrowded pools, noisy people, nasty staff, etc.), this was just an awesome experience. Young crowd, family, all mixed, not crowded, great atmosphere and really nicely decorated hotel. Highly recommended.
I’m single mom with two kids and my daughter decided to celebrate her 12th years birthday to trip in Eilat.I choose to stay in this hotel because 1st not expensive, the room was beautiful with complimentary cake, fruits and drinks we enjoyed the relaxing view, amenities in the area, the staff is so kind and the food was perfect,me and my kids was so happy to our time to stay here we had best memories on her bat mitzva. thanks
We came late in the evening and the receiptionist Ceci was smiling. We asked for a room which calmer and we got a room with beautiful view to the sea and Jordania was also seen. Although furniture is not new, but very good for the price ! The breakfast is really tasty and the rooms cleaned perfectly. After cleaning we each time found a plate with biscuits or chocolate in the room from the hotel. I can surely recomend it.
Clean and silent. Enough room for 3 kids and 2 adults. Large balcony. Fresh air. 15 minutes by car from coral beaches / underwater observatory / dolphin's reef.
5 minutes by car from central Eilat beach / hotels / attractions.
There is a kiosk in lobby working until 23.20 every day (incl. Sabbaths and Rosh-Ha-Shana).
There is huge playground for kids near the entrance in the building.
Our stay started really well with Sara who checked us in with a smile, very welcome after the long drive to Eilat. The room is larger than the regular hotel rooms in Israel and very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was tasty, fresh and had plenty of choice. The pool is really well set out and clean. Overall we had a very positive experience and will stay here again!
The hotel looks nice and comfortable
Its right on the beach next to the sanked ship diving site
You can tell the place is old but it was clean and well maintained

I love the location right on the beach. love that the hotel is not huge and impersonal. the staff is very friendly and it has a homely vibe to it that is great. breakfast is delicious. great fruits and everything else you may want. it is right next to aqua sport for great diving and snorkeling.
Great location, the cleanliness of the hotel, the friendly staff, the delicious breakfast, and most especially the views of the city center and the sea from the window of our room that made us enjoyed much our stay at the comfort hotel in eilat, israel

Friendly desk guy, always helpful. Across the street from Egged. Quiet. Clean. Nice pool. Breakfast: excellent hot shakshuka, all kinds of cheeses, humus, techina, halva, cereal. Worth it!
The Staff....the staff and incredible amenities were the highlight of our stay. There area many hotels on the Eilat coast. I promise you, there's only ONE resort experience. The Aria!
The service was exceptionally good for Eilat’s standards in the summer days. The staff and especially the hotel manager was available to answer our requests.
Rich buffet.
Location is good, value for money (relatively to Eilat ofcourse) is ok.
Brown decor (i find it very stylish)
Bed is super comfy
Breakfast is good for boutique hotel
