Coraçao is located precisely at the entry of the authentic fishing village Ponta do Sol, situated between a mountain range, and the Atl. Ocean on one of the most beautiful islands of Cape Verde, viz. Santo Antao on the left side of the road. An outdoor bar (self-service), Massage at the hotel, Solarium, Kitchen (buffet), Free WiFi in the whole building, 10 spacious rooms with private balcony and large shower (w / k and running water). Tourist Info (Prof. guides, restaurants, ..), Transport Service on request -Taxi through the mountain route with stops (with a multilingual driver) or collectively via the coast road - Parking provided for those with a rental car. The prices vary depending on the time you want to stay and we provide are definitely beneficial for the offer. We try to contact to take the same day.
We are Wim and Hilde Van Belle - Van Gelder and live already since May 22, 2011 in Ponta do Sol. On one of the most beautiful islands of Cape Verde, namely Santo Antao (pedestrian island -. For people who love nature, adventure (canyoning), fishing with local people .. We are from Belgium Our house is completely renovated and reopened on February 14. . 2017. All nationalities are welcome, we speak your language.
Santo Antao is a pedestrian island, one of the largest islands of Cape Verde. From Ponta do Sol you can do quite a lot of different walks and activities. In the village you can find an authentic harbor where fishermen accrue daily. Sometimes you can whales, dolphins and turtles. You can see the local grogue trials with locals, plantations and beautiful terraces. There are some nice restaurants, not expensive and cared for. The population is very friendly and helpful. There are banks and small shops nearby. People love feasts ° from Old to New fireworks and music ° Carnival ° Coculi May 1 ° June 13 Paùl June 23 ° Porto Novo ° weekend around Aug. 15. Festival Baïas tie hole axis on the island of São Vicente, where guests usually consider crossing to the island of Santo Antao .. ° weekend Sept. 24. Ponta do Sol (horse race, vegetables market, cultural market performance of special guests, ..) ...
