Very nice and beautiful place with great breakfast prepared every morning by the amazing housekeeper (thank you Stephanie). Great swimming pool, several terracces to rest and read. Location is easy to reach from the Harbour if you travel with bus.

Betty Cake is a little oasis in Qala on a rather nondescript street. You wouldn't know it was there, but once you arrive, it is a charming little place. It is like a little boutique B&B, but made all the more enjoyable by the charming and beautiful Denise, who is very helpful with local knowledge, tips and recommendations. She also produces a wonderful breakfast each morning, including her own baking of traditional food. There are nice restaurants within walking distance or within a short drive.

It is an excellent B & B in a stone villa with very nicely appointed common areas and rooms. There are nice patios with views of area. Denise is a wonderful hostess, available to help with any suggestions you might need for your stay. Breakfast was a nice assortment of meats, fruits, cheese and breads/pastry. Denise arranged a reasonable car rental for us, but we weren’t brave enough to drive the narrow streets on the left side of the road with a manual transmission, so we used the bus, which is fine if you coordinate your trips using the bus line’s app to find times and routes. We didn’t use taxis.There is a bus stop two blocks away. You can walk to Qala on hilly streets for a couple of restaurants. Not much else there.

Denise was an amazing host. She made great recommendations for walks, including to the beautiful secluded beaches less than 30 minutes away by foot. For longer stretches, there's a bus stop close by. Qala is a great island to explore, and it's always possible to take a day trip by ferry to Valletta.

This is a beautifully authentic Gozitan B & B -- all the modern comforts with all the traditional charm. We especially enjoyed the quiet terraces on every level, including the pool terrace on the ground level and the rooftop terrace with views.

A beautiful, tasteful and very clean property. Betty goes out of her way to make you feel genuinely "at home". You would struggle to find better hospitality in a 5* hotel. I cannot recommend this place enough. If ever we return to Gozo we will most definitely stay again.
