The location was great. You're close to the shops and restaurants in Dingle, but not in the.modst of the hustle and bustle, which is nice if you want a quiet night in. Breakfast options were good, and the dining room has a gorgeous view of the bay; however, the best part of the stay was meeting Séamus the Irish Wolfhound.

The room was comfortable and beautiful with a great view of the bay. Our host, Dermot, was exceptionally helpful and kind and very fun to talk to. We were able to hire him to transport us by car to Killarney which was a fabulous opportunity to see some out of the way places that we would never see on the bus. He made our trip to Dingle very special.

Its a nice town but quite busy.
Its a nice town but quite busy. Evenings we were there varied considerably, from lots of rowdiness on street and all the pubs bursting at the seams as a bank holiday and the next evening was really quiet. Good restaurants but need to book to eat in better ones. Out of the Blue was a particulary good restaurant.

Hadn't expected soooooo many buses and soooo many people getting off those buses. The Dingle Bean made the best coffee, and had great simple food, but be prepared for a wait and no seat, it's small and super popular. So charming!
So charming! Quaint, well kept traditional Irish village with a small harbor! Lovely shops and resteraunts surrounded by wild cliffs, rolling hills, canyons, mountains and the mighty Atlantic! Dingle is a compact town on the southern side of the eponymous peninsular. It has a plethora of bars, restaurants, shops and cafes. At the waterfront are a number of businesses offering boat trips and there is an aquarium. Dingle is at the start of the Slea Head Drive, a tour around the peninsular visiting many interesting sites and exploring the wonderful scenery in this part of the world. However, once these are done there's not much to occupy you beyond more food and drink, or listening to music in those places offering you food and drink! Having said that, it is very good food indeed, with wonderful seafood almost everywhere. The local beer is also very good and makes a change from the omnipresent Guinness. The view of the bay area from the property was just gorgeous and we enjoyed a glass of wine on the front patio to soak in that view before heading into town for dinner. The property's owners were so charming and welcoming and helpful. The rooms were very nice and comfortable. And the breakfasts were just delicious with so many yummy offerings - I especially enjoyed the eggs benedict - scrumptious! Pat took time to talk to us and offered to drop us off in town if we wanted. He gave us suggestions for sight seeing. The breakfasts were delicious. There is a beautiful "sun" room attached to the property. We were able to sit there and read a book one day when it was pouring out. The other days, the sun shone in, making it so beautiful. Our host was so friendly. The selection of breakfast items was really good, and the beds were comfortable. It was great to stay on a sheep farm. When we were there the sheep were right behind the house. I want to mention the Blasket Center museum, it is really worth a visit, so well done, so interesting to learn about the Blasket island culture and community.
